Much credit to Verdine, Phil, and Ralph for choosing to keep the musical legacy of the Elements going for future generations. And with Reece's blessing :-)
there ain't nothing to add to that....that's why we miss him so from the group...didn't matter who is singing his part, for those who have listened to them since the beginning WE notice =(
He's the man with the astrological plan...Maurice White! Thank you, Reese, for bringing the kalimba to our American lives. (Now I can play this instrument) :)
As it was stated earlier...without Maurice the band is not the same. They're still good, buy not as good with him. Obviously, he brought so much to EWF, but he has this special charisma that can't be duplicated.
When maurice isn't with the group you notice the difference. His presence is palpable. He IS the difference maker. I will always love the group forvever, but he is the group...damn parkinson's...praying for a miracle
i totally agree!!!! maurice is the heart and soul of e,w,& f;let alone the brain child, too. philip bailey is also important as well.and verdine......what else can i say. badd ass!!!!!!

Thumbs!!! up for Maurice w/the Kalimba nobody can play it better. The Taknanaka maybe the only musical group can measure up to EWF.
