nuclear sorry. I forgot the name of the group but last i heard they wanted a site for all waste to be in Australia thats probaly why Obama hasnt acted on the proposed site in the U.S. . hiding this stuff in storage wouldnt be so bad if it only lasted a hundred years but it lasts a hell of alot longer thats the problem.

there is no safe way to store neclear watse if its still radioactive, its not like i can go swimming with it or live with it so its not safe. this idea of storing spent fuel rods in refridgerated water is so old and with population increaseing and no new land and more and more fuel being used your argument is flawed you will run out of room or have to put waste in other aeras or people in waste areas. how long now have we had neclear power where is the new tech for disposal?
