@wbwvids thanks. So basically when you copy the vid into your computer, both sides can be heard, right? I see some comments on YT( watch?v=_t96_kc0Kvk ) that their Drift HD170 mic is defective, that is why I'm wondering...
@chronousnemesis I just checked the box, it doesn't say whether it's mono or stereo, but I'm 99.9% sure it's mono. The mic works fine; much better than the Hero HD I think. I didn't pay attention to the sound track when I was editing in Premiere Elements so I probably cut off one channel. You'd never know this playing the raw file.
Thanks for the tip, I fixed it. The raw .mov file video looks much better also before being squished by YouTube compression. No wavy rolling shutter effect either!
oh - i see. that red barn @ about 0:32 looks just like green valley rd. near junction rd. in pa.
there is an amazing stretch of US50 in WV climbing black rock mountain (39.33547N; 79.08983W). great overlook at the top at WV42 --- then WV42 north into kitzmiller, md. some of the best twisties around...

What happen to the audio? The right side of the sound is gone. Is the sound mono or stereo? And do they sell it in overseas besides US?
