Mo chuisle literally translated means My pulse. HOWEVER we Irish would say a chuisle as a term of endearment when talking to the person or Mo chuisle when referring to a person. its not about whether or not the actress playing the role can box, its whether or not they can apply the passion and emotion that the character has.

Hilary Swank is a great actress which is why this movie is amazing. Clint Eastwood wrote and directed, and picked the cast 4 this movie so he would have known if Jlo was right 4 the part which she isnt.

this movie had a perfect balance between Clint Eastwood, Morgan Freeman, and Hillary Swank. Jlo isnt nearly as good of an actor as Clint and Morgan which is why she would have ruined it.

Great Movie, Swank's kata in The Next Karate Kid suffered. Her boxing was a lot better. There's a text that doubt all the knockouts. #1, it's a movie. #2 Maggie said to Eastwood that she had been doing this for 3yrs. but not the speed bag. If she been hitting the big bag, long hours and for the past 3 yrs.Then its possible to develope a knockout punch. The big bag is a major factor in developing the K.O. power.

I hated, hated, hated this movie. It looks and sounds fake, and nothing in this movie is plausible. No boxer gets gets that many knockouts that early in her career, unless they line us glass-jaw opponents.

I truly agree. I got a chance to watch this movie for this first time on AMC and it is fantastic. Gotta give it up for Hillary Swank and Clint Eastwood for their performaces in this great flick. Sadly though when Maggie fought The Dirty Boxer she wound up being paralized, lost her left leg, stood up to her mother and finally found eternal peace! One of the best movies. Can't wait to get the DVD. :)
