A Spanish or classical guitar is smaller in stature than an acoustic guitar. It also has a wider neck, less frets and nylon strings (typically) whereas a modern acoustic uses metal strings. The sound is also not as crisp as that from a modern acoustic guitar. Moreover, the classical/Spanish guitar was meant to be played by placing the body on the lap and holding the neck more upright, similar to how one would hold a cello. This is a good interpretation of Metallica's Call of Ktulu also; 4/5.

FYI: a spanish guitar is a type of acoustic guitar. The three bottom strings are nylon instead of steel, the neck is wider and the strings are further apart from each other. It has a different sound than a steel string acoustic guitar.
