i agree, dont listen to DarianXsXCrans- you dont "upgrade" to a low end card. You save up until you can get something Decent like a 9600GT or a 3870 1GB for 60 to 70 bucks. Not 40 bucks for a 9400GT which doesn't even really play games and wasn't meant to either, its a Home Theatre card with High end decoding features.

sometimes the 7600 is underestimated as it kicked ass in 2006 and CAN run crysis on low settings.

The 8600 is far better then the 7600 as my laptop has a 8600m gt gpu and it runs elder scrolls on max with adverage of 40 fps

Crysis @ full is "Very High." Ultra High can only be achieved with mods that unlock the HDR settings.

Also, going past 4x AA makes your fps take a nose dive if your GPU is not powerful enough.

Do NOT get the 8x00 graphics cards. Everything in the 8x00 except the 8800GT sucks.

The 8400/8200 are both far worse than the 7600GT, and the 8600 is also worse than the 7600GT.

I suggest you get a good 7x00, a good 9600GT, or a very good 9800GT/8800GT.

Personally I hate the line of 8x00 mobile series because of that Nvidia defect that causes your laptop to meltdown. It happened to me and it took 2-3 months to get my laptop fixed.

Good, hell if you use the low poly grass mod even better. I got as low as 25 or so outdoors and it was good indoors. Check my channel, I recorded a vid, make sure to watch in HQ. and I had to record the fraps vid at half size but it looks alright.

i have some wierd problems with this game... game lags pretty badly (fps~30) even with low settings! Same fps stays if i change settings to high. My specs: AMD Athlon 64 X2 +4400, 2gb ddr2, geforce 7900gto 512mb(overclocked) 8% better performance than 7900gtx have... Any ideas what is the problem?

change drivers or update them, update directx, clear up your disk from garbage, see if the card overheating as you overclocked it, use rivatuner to see the temps of it while you running the game, and if not just underclock it and see how it runs.

You got to remember, to acheive the best performance out of your system you need the right CPU/GPU balance.

To me, your 7600GT is bottlenecking your CPU.

Try get a better GPU. :)
