  • To Conductor: At 1:42 why are you conducting the rhythm with your left hand?  Typically, the right hand is for timing (e.g. 2/4, 3/4, 6/8, etc), while the left is for emphasis and entrance/exit.

  • @tim23z That's not true. You should search; Leonard Bernstein Conducting and you will find how different conductors actually are. But I do have to say, the conductor in this video is very, very stiff.

    I think you did better on this than you give yourself credit for. Not at all a travesty as you described it. ;) What's really cool now is to see how you've grown in skill, confidence, and stage presences between then and the Metrowest rehearsal in May (which was a lot of fun, by the way).

    I hope Max lets you do something for the holiday concert again this year. I will certainly be back in time for that.
