Hello, Ive got a 2006 Dodge with the hemi in it also. I just got the truck and i really like it. If you could i would like a driving video and a underneath shot of the trucks exahust. Thanks

@JRJ1987 Hey I sure can. Right now I still have alot of snow and ice all over the roads and drive way. As soon as I get some of it melted and the roads clear up some so I can get on it some I will figure out my new camera and get some new videos loaded for you. It will be in the month I promise.

Just wondering why you ran an x-pipe with a dual in/dual out muffler?

@01DodgeRam360The reason I went with the X-pipe then into a dual in dual out muffler was for 2 reasons. First it would give me the deep sound I was looking for. the second and most important reason is that it would create enough back pressure in my exhaust system so that when the MDS cuts in the truck would not put out that normal dreaded drone noise. With this setup there is enough back pressure that the exhaust goes quite now when the MDS cuts in and there is not any drone noise. Good question

ok so ima be 16 pretty soon and ima get me a dodge ram 1500 probally a 2004 and i dont want to waste my money having poor gas mileage so im seeing if anyone can help me with mods i could get that would improve the mpg and how much it would increase it? thanks and by the way that sounds legit dude

@chansonwilliam you don't get an exhaust to save you on MPG, you get it for performance reasons. it will take a very long time to recoup that. best thing is change out the filter/intake and put a K&N on, and second get the chip and make sure you program it right. the chip supposedly works really good. An exhaust will help but you will only see a percent or 2 if that.

yes they are. I know because I own a 2007 ram (all they are is plastic chrome covers). But whats nice is you cant tell theyre plastice unless you get right up at them and tap the wheels with your fingers.

i agree magnaflows are okay...at best but i have true dual aeroturbines and had massive gains 12rwhp and 27rwtq per muffler totaled out to be 24rwhp and 54rwtq and i gained 3mpg from one and an extra 2mpg from the 2nd one when i went true duals

Dude you should put a K&N cold air intake in that too makes all the difference, we put a intake and flowmaster dual exhaust on my friends 07 hemi and its beast now.

It's sounds awesome, but this setup isn't true duals. True duals means having two mufflers, each with a separate tailpipe from the manifold or header all the way back.

I am glad you liked my video. I put a magnaflow dual in dual out muffler with a x pipe before the muffler. I have all 3" pipes on it and when that video was made everything was stock execpt for the muffler. If you are putting a exhaust on your truck I would either go with the Magnaflow or the Flowmaster 50 series HD. Both make mufflers just for the hemi.
