The perspective of the car and background didn't match.  You probably would have been better off drawing the background in by hand. Something artistic/ abstract would have worked nice. You want to put an illustrated car in an illustrated background, unless the car is photo-real, but then you could only achieve that with 3D.

If you look to the car angle, than look to road angle, you just realize the left of the car is on the ground, with no wheels. Of course, the wheels is fucking huge, also =/

if ur gonna make the wheels that big, you should consider making them a wee bit more wide. the tires look kind of weird...

the perspective on the back round is a little too stretched. you could take the bottom portion of the background and flatten it a little on a new layer. then feather/lightly erase the top end of the new background so it blends in with the original background.

but over all great job!

Each program has its strengths and weaknesses. You can build a 2D render in photoshop quicker than you can build and render a model in 3DS Max. But at the end of the day after you've done it in photoshop, you only have the one angle, whereas if you want another look at an object from a 3DS Max model, you just add another camera and render again. Each have their place in the design process, but stoney's right - photoshop wasn't intended as a rendering tool, although it can be used as one

Yikes man, i don't even know where to begin. try to draw in your own wheels. that way thay match the car. and make sure they are the right size too. don't add that background either it makes it look cheap. not to mention thae car isn't even in the correct perspective with the background. With practive you'll get it someday. keep it up.

LMAO i agree with every other comment, draw the wheels urself.

if ur doing a rendering from a sketch, dont put in a photo backdrop, draw a simple gradient background instead.

the windows got a matte finish to it, same with your headlamps. don't use a soft brsuh for that, instead make sharper edges of white on the headlamp to give it the gloss it needs.
