i'm not stupid but curious, what stops the plane from spinning like a helicopter that doesn't have a tail rudder???

If the plane is hovering it actually does spin to a point (Torque Roll) But when it's flying around the wings make enough lift that the small amount of Torque Roll is unnoticable. Hope I could help.
