  • looks like the 80' tidied them up bit. I whish there was more lyrical diverstiy nowdays.

  • carle wayne gives a faultless performance here and his voice is the same as his 60s one brilliant

  • the postcard is on youtube if you look!

  • Ace hasn't aged much since 1967!!!

  • EXCELLENT! Love both of them - RIP Carl

  • Oh this is the business - Carl you are the ultimate showman - RIP you down to earth man you xxx

  • Great to see Move is back on stage :-) Long Live Rock'n'Roll !!

  • yeah jon the bass player was at the NEC aug 86 too with Roy

  • I remember this performance....it was from a show called 'The Time of your life' which Noel Edmonds presented....it was a good show too and would examine events from a particular year (in this case 1967) and have the original people involved on and the original bands too (depending on which configuration they were in at the time!) Obviously only Carl and Roy were the originals here....

  • Yes you're right; I also have appearances by both P.J. Proby & The Troggs (& possibly others) from this show.

  • @colinjpowell

I remember that show too, but I'd forgotten Noel presented it. I think I vaguely remember the Nashville Teens and Freddie & The Dreamers being on it.

I remember going to the Radio 1 15th Birthday bash at the Hammersmith Odeon in '82 and Roy & Carl played a bunch of Move songs at that. I was only 14 but loved 60s music (still do).

It was quite a good line up that show. ..the Troggs, Merseybeats, Nashville Teens, Rockin' Berries, Dave Dee & Co, Chris Farlow, Swinging Blue Jeans.

  • Interviewed there by Noel Edmonds (aka Noel Tidybeard). With them on the couch, the lovely Lulu.

  • Cool performance. I think the drummer on this video is Kex Gorin, it's hard to tell but I think its him.

  • The bass player is Jon Camp.

He was in Rennaisance and The Groundhogs.

  • Yeah you're right, its Jon Camp. He was also a member of Roy Wood's Helicopters too.

  • great song thanks for having posted this video

  • I like the Move.

  • Very nice. They should have done more that just this TV show. They sound good.
