Dude youre a fag. each gunner is given a certain field of view for a convoy. Lead gunner watches ahead of the convoy, middle gunners to the right and left, and rear gunner for the .... i think you already can tell where this is going. the point is for visual contact with the other gunners you would have to turn all the way around with the turret. it is a waste of time and a hassle. so until youve actually been in a lead gunner postition getting shot at and blown up, shut the fuck up!
I'd rather have 360 protection than 360 visibility. Besides, not everyone covers 360's, we split it up, usually in 4's, so we all have 100's-110's, that way we have overlapping FoF.
Whatever you say dude. I was lead gunner for 2 deployments in Iraq back when there was actually a war going on. I think I know just a little bit about being in a turret.
