  • USC does have a good band though. But one band I never liked was Stanford.

  • i love these sorts of themes ;D

  • I love it when I watch band videos and inevitably an argument over football starts

  • Best marching band, hands down!

  • I'm not impressed. MSU's marching band was doing this stuff long before USC's, minus the cheesy swaying, kicks, and scatter forms. Not only that, their band looks pretty out of shape.

  • @Lithoxene i agree B1G Bands are way better, work on straightening your lines USC

  • @gbaird68 i think it would be rather hard for them to get a perfectly straight line out of that many people

  • I remember being there at the game. Such a sweet victory!

  • sends chill down my spine every time lol there are sooooo good

  • The Best!!

  • USC has the best fight song I have heard by far.

    I LOVE Tribute to Troy.

    FIGHT ON!

  • Even though my schools band is pretty awesome, I'm still obsessed with USC"s marching band.

  • i LOVE their fight song.... (im fom tucson 030) i love a lot of bands though ^0^' hehhee..........

  • This band freakn' Rocks

  • i just love the uniform!

  • This band is ridiculous. Where'd you get the helmets, the costume shop?

  • @eringobragh91 This double platinum selling marching band who has performed with such artists as Fleetwood Mac, The Goo Goo Dolls, and Usher just to name a few. This marching band who is routinely asked to perform on such shows as Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien, and American Idol, not to mention all the national parades. Well they get their uniforms custom tailored and their helmets are custom forged by Hephaestus himself.

  • @eringobragh91 we got a bitchy bruin

  • Only makes sense the crooks at the NCAA try to erase this beatdown from the memory banks. I was there, it was epic. Oh yeah haters, the NCAA changed the facts of the case to try to do so as it relates to Reggie Bush. Meanwhile, Ohio St can basically GET Maurice Clarrett a car, and nothing happens. 1/2 the SEC is in bed with Agents, they'll get bupkiss.

  • Make that 6 Heisman Trophys. Reggie Bush is about to lose his.

  • They had a freakin horse?!?! lol

  • @lexi186

The horse,Traveler,is the team's mascot. He's at all home games.

  • I love how everyone is talking about football when there is an amazingly talented marching band on field.

  • U-C-L-A- SUCKS!

  • @twhoover4 what did he do?

  • Those fags from Westwood have nothing on the Trojans. They wish they could get half the national exposure SC does. Even with the sanctions the Trojans will still dominate them. They know and so does everyone else that Los Angeles is belongs to USC.

  • @Djtrumpet11 SC has to vacate those wins so that means the games never happen... AP report says that SC will not have to give up it's AP tittle say that means that SC is still the National champs of that season because if the BCS makes the Trojans vacate the game it never happen the Trojans are still the champs... Sorry Auburn fans your team still ain't shit

  • With all the politics going on at USC and Lane Kiffin as a coach, the Trojans are going to be a joke for the next few seasons! Oh well, they deserve it! How does it feel to be one of the most hated programs in the nation? What makes it even worse is that now they're hated even more because they're crooks!

  • @djtrumpet11 You gotta be kidding. where the hell did you get your facts. They didnt get slammed because of a crooked coach they got slammed because of a selfish , stupid idiot who sold the school out. Reggie Bush and his gansta stupid thug of dad screwed the school. His family is trash and their ghetto pieces of shit. The minute Bush's NFL career is over is the minute he'll hit reality. BTW, LSU could never beat the '04-05 SC team. Highly unlikely...

  • USC cheaters just had to forfeit this win.

  • @sirhuggybear Doesn't quite make sense though... USC forfeits the win against Oklahoma in the title game, and their BCS title, yet they still keep the AP National Championship? So the game DID happen? Lol, USC TROJANS baby!!!

  • Southern California 55 Oklahoma 19

  • I was there, totally worth the trip! The Okies were favored and lost to the Trojans by 55-19! Pac 10 RULES!

  • it sure was for Oklahoma

  • Trojan man

  • u-c-l-a sucks!

  • @AtTheDriveBy And plays fair

  • @AtTheDriveBy no they don't! :D

  • @HaIoReachForge a recent reply has been U-S-C-are-cheats!

  • @AtTheDriveBy well okay ucla is awful at football but far better than usc in academics

  • @HaIoReachForge wrong!

  • Respond to this video... This band marches and doesn't shuffle like the others. Drum and Bugle and other shufflers, well, not the same difficulty and class.

  • @HaIoReachForge

Well re: academics you haven't read the US New ratings for the last two years or recognized the superior SAT and ACT scores of USC freshmen.

  • @radioman140 wow I didn't realize that but I believe UCLA has higher average high school GPA

  • So you search the video and view it then. Nice. Best marching band.

  • yup. that's what i do.

  • Atleast our marching band is original. You have to steal Cal Berkleys. UCLA's fight song is fucking horrible.

  • Mr. Aikman for The those who are not aware is from Cerritos,

California and Went to O U Thank You to the University and My Native Brother's Tone G

  • I'm a product of SC, and a Reggie Bush and Troy Aikman Fan

    Tone G YEA!

  • @RollinwitdaG I hope Reggie Bush burns in hell for what he did to the program.

  • I Love Both Tone G YEA

  • park and blow band...nothing special

  • i agree with you.

  • @ThePincheShow

"Them" USC uniforms? At least attempt to get your GED.

  • USC has the most awesome drum major uniforms ever :D

The band's helmets are awesome too

  • Its too bad they skipped the "BEAT" "THE SOONERS"

  • In three years with the band, I think this was the most perfectly marched and played pre-game I've ever done. Think the football team was pumped for this game? You should have been in the tunnel when right before the band went out on the field! Fight On!

  • FIGHT ON!!!

  • This was EPIC! Nothing like seeing the looks of the faces on the Okies @Halftime. Talk about shell shocked, they were so convinced they were gonna win big. They were out of the stadium by the 3rd quarter. A beatdown of monumental proportions. Lucky Pete didn't want to rub it in, or he'd have hung 70 that night. The team was ON FIRE!!

  • I hate both teams. If Auburn weren't on probation then it would have been you all vs. them. USC was the best team in the nation. Had my Hokies hung onto the momentum the first game of the season against USC then USC may not have been in this bowl. USC was the best team in the nation that year. I can't really argue against that.

But the BCS should stand for Big Crock of $hit in all honesty.

  • Auburn wasn't on probation

  • @djtrumpet11 Just a note...but that USC team the Hokies played to open the season had only 2 returning starters on offense, Fred Matua and Matt Leinart. SC coaches had to pull a JUCO to fill the RT position to guard Leinart's blind side. That team just got a hell of a lot better as the season progressed, you were fortunate to play USC in it's first game of the season with that must inexperience on the offensive line and the skill position.

  • Is it me or does the fight song rock...as a matter of fact dosent USC in general rock? I think so..

  • It may sound silly, but having never been a big college football fan, I became a USC fan back in 2007 just because how much their Rose Bowl Parade performance impressed me. I do not regret that decision. This is an awesome team, with a equally awesome marching band. They can never play enough "Fight On" at the games for me. FIGHT ON TROJANS !!

  • Accidentally gave you a thumbs down, its really a thumbs up!!

  • No worries. And yes, USC does rock in general.

  • As a former captain and team president of the USC Rugby Team, who has given his blood, sweat and tears for SC, one of the greatest feelings I ever had was one Saturday when we played U of San Diego and the TMB was practicing nearby on Cromwell Field. Some of the TMB members stopped, played Fight On! for us. I was so pumped they were actually playing for us and not the football team. Awesome feeling! Fight On Forever!

  • if you go to USC away games, you would know that the usc marching band plays a much better show than the opponent, it almost feels like there home every game, maybe because after every touchdown thye play fight on, and trust me, they score alot of touchdowns FIGHT ON! and beat oregon state! and yes UCLA SUCKS!

  • Go USC

  • the eggs

  • omg this was amazing i was just concidering aplying to USC but now i am deffinatly applying! fight on!!!

  • fight on ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • lol slappy1234567 i think thats why i love tribute to troy they play it like every down and i don't know if i'm the only one put it pumps me up lol.

  • the whole point is to the play the songs so much that the opponents and their fans cant stand it, and thats when the trojans come in and dominate... i love hearing the fight song.

  • Playing 'Tribute to Troy' over and over again is psychological warfare.

  • i no dude i would be fuckin scared if i was the sooners

  • 11 National Championships, 7 Heisman's...LSU doesn't even come close

  • @buddeelov But at least LSU loves the game enough to play fair, unlike USC. I hate both teams but I have more respect for LSU. LSU didn't have to vacate their national championships on account of crooked coaches. I'll take fewer national championships where the game is played fair than more championships with cheating.

  • @djtrumpet11 USC plays the game fair just as any team on the field. If you don't respect USC that's fine but don't call it cheating if you can't prove they cheated during game time.

  • @djtrumpet11 Do you seriously believe that this doesn't happen everywhere? If you do then you are delusional. Bush got caught and because he went to USC they got nailed. Now all of a sudden Alabama, Florida, North Carolina and a couple others are under investigation. Take off the blindfold.

  • @danedaddy65

Hell to the fucking yeah, dude. Yes,Bush was wrong. But punishing the young talent is a futile gesture. Bush has his Superbowl ring, $. Pete Carroll phoned it in for the 2009 season, earned a THIRD chance in the NFL, and $. His first success as a head coach was at USC. The Trojans made him. Now Barkley, Baxter, Johnson & co,who are far more loyal than Carroll could be, are banned from bowl games. The NCAAF,Bush & Carroll can suck it. Sorry, Crimson Tide & Gators. FIGHT ON!

  • @acotw67 What Bush and his family did was wrong, but still I don't think it was worth taking the Heisman away. He didn't take performance enhancing drugs which in my opinion is much worse. He did do everything naturally. And while talking about USC, I mean lets be honest if OJ gets to keep his trophy then there's no reason why Bush should have to give his back lol

  • @chanman4rings

I agree. The NCAA's sanctions were excessive, especially since it took four years to complete the investigation. I wonder what will happen to the other universities under investigation. At least OJ is where he belongs.(or should I say at last?)

  • @buddeelov 6 (Reggie bush fails)

  • fight on!!!

  • 11 National Championships, 151 All- Americans, 7 Heisman trophy winners. Scoreboard motherfuckers, say all you want . 43 Draft picks since 2001...... 15 more than any other D-1 football program...FIGHT ON!

  • @sportey7511 im a michigan fan but gotta give Southern Cal credit their best team would have KILLED the SEC's best team of the decade

  • @sportey7511 And crooked coaches. I believe in that package you all have to vacate the wins in 2004 including the national championship and I don't know if that includes the split national championship from the previous season. Remember to add all that into your statistics.

How does it feel to be a fan of a cheating program? I'd rather be a fan of a losing program than a cheating program. Come to the east coast, where we actually love the game enough to play fair!

  • @sportey7511 u also forgot. 39 conference championships nd if u see on every nfl team theres at least one usc starter. defensively nd offense

  • @sportey7511 Uhhh...that's 6 heisman trophy winners now....

  • @GrundyMad . Thats still more than any D-1 School... Watch out for Cody Kessler..this Kid is Going to Be our next Quarterback Heisman Trophy Winner True Freshman... '''' Robert Woods might take the Trophy home this year. JUST WATCH......! Started as a true freshman...... 14 Touchdowns..This kid is Solid....Fight On.!

  • @sportey7511 How are some of those draft picks doing now?

  • @djtrumpet11 well clay matthews won the super bowl. troy polumalu lost it.. two usc players right there.. reggie bush won a super bowl.. same with sedrick ellis (also on the saints)

  • @djtrumpet11 excuse me, troy polumalu lost it this year, but he already won the super bowl

  • @djtrumpet11 brian cushing is doing really well. steve smith and terell thomas (on the giants) both won the super bowl.. carson palmer is one of the best quarterbacks in the league. marc sanchez is doing really good at new york..Mike williams at the seahawks had a really good year.

  • @djtrumpet11 and dwayne jarrett gets solid playing time. kieth rivers at the bengals also a great player. and didnt troy polumalu win defensive player of the year this year? guess who got second. clay matthews, both usc players so obviously all are doing well

  • @djtrumpet11 o and i forgot about lofa tatupu

  • @sportey7511 and they have the most nfl hall of famers

  • @sportey7511 you forgot the endless supply of arrogant D-bags that follow SC who have absolutely nothing to do with the University.

  • @DrGivengo Same with OU (I lived in OK for 3 years) College fans who never attended the school are D-Bags across the nation.

    Semper Fi

  • @DrGivengo It's the state of California. It's the definition of arrogant d-bag

  • @djtrumpet11 Arrogant? It is a marching band. Are marching bands supposed to be humble and self-effacing or something?

  • @simbared Never said the marching band was arrogant, though I believe arrogant defines the whole state of California. I actually like this video.

  • you must be a domer.........ass clown!!!

  • warning to all.....DON'T BRUIN YOUR LIFE!!!

  • 11 national championships, 7 heisman trohpy winners, 151 all-americans, 32 rosebowl appeareances, 11 more than any other college football program. Go Trojans! Fuck the Rest- Put them to Sleep!

  • haha ND is a joke now, your offense cant get first downs first the trojans, much less score actual points

    FIGHT ON

  • The last time there was a riot in south central LA, USC's current freshmen were 2 year old children. USC is one of the top 30 American universities now. Grow up. USC students don't even know who Reginald Denney was unless they learned about it in civics class. 1992 was a long time ago.

  • I notice everyone talking crap about the place we live in but fact is you can't say nothing about our team. When were done dominating college football we'll let the other teams have a shot. Bu that'll be a cold day in hell when were done, oh wait...according to your comments L.A. is hell and since it never gets cold here, I guess we''ll just keep winning!!!FIGHT ON USC TROJANS!!!!!!

  • UCLA is also in LA. USC is not in So Central; it's in the Hoover District, and UCLA isn't in Beverly Hills; it's in Westwood. UCLA is a land-grant university, while USC is private. UC has secured prime CA real estate for its campuses (Berkeley, Santa Cruz, Santa Barbara, LA, Irvine & San Diego are located in some of the most desirable locations in the state). UC is funded mainly by taxpayers, but USC gets no state funding for instruction or capital, and lesser amounts for research.

  • UCLA does not have a great college atmosphere off campus. Ever since a young woman was shot and killed in Westwood, the Village has been a ghost town. USC is located down the street from Staples Center, LA Live (the new home of ESPN West) and the Nokia Theater. Downtown LA. is being rejuvenated and has a much more vibrant weekend/nightlife than Westwood.

  • The riots were a while ago. Downtown LA is a vibrant place now.

As for tradition, USC has a great college football tradition---one of the greatest in the country. USC doesn't have a "nation"; it has The Trojan Family. That's what builds the tradition and loyalty. The Weasel from UCLA may try to copy USC and call UCLA "the bruin family," but it's a poor imitation of The USC Trojan Family.

Your comments are shallow, parochial and blindly insulting. You sound jealous. Of course you don't get.

  • A few of you have missed the point of having the country's #1 university band.

This piece has "Tribute to Troy," which is a little more complex than your average college football tune. If complexity and sophistication are not your "thing," then we Trojans apologize.

We're coming to your hometown soon to flatten your silly little football team and we're bringing the best band in the U.S. with us.

PS: The other tune is "Tusk" (Fleetwood Mac.) You know, for fun. Lighten up.

    Fight On!

  • Just another National Championship meltdown by the Oklahoma Sooners. Does Bob Stoops ever win when it really counts? USC scored 62 points if memory serves me correctly!

    Fight On!

  • 55-19 actually.

  • oh my god!!!!!

this is the best band ive ever seen!!!!!!!

the formations are perfect and theyre totally cordinated!

    usc trojans ur awesome

  • woohoo big deal. we are located in a historic place with tons of diversity, the heart of one of the biggest cities in the world. who cares if the surrounding area needs some work, its what being human is all about, helping others. id rather live off Figueroa ANY DAY over any other gross ass secluded college town

  • What do you have against the location? You have some ugly prejudices. The culture diversity is great and most of the people who live around the campus are hardworking/working class people, raising families. USC partners w/ local schools & many USC students work in the community. Aside from being a top-30 ranked research institution, USC was also rated as the top college by Time and the Princeton Review for its extensive work and outreach into the community. What's your problem with that?

  • this is F-IN RAD. def. the best pregame i've seen us do. FIGHT ON- beat the retarded lions. TROJAN POWER & DOMINATION!

  • goodluck gators..please do to the sooners what we did to them, smack there candy azz's..it would have been nice to see U.S.C play the florida.but another ROSE BOWL game is a nice to be @ on the 1st of the month! FIGHT ON!!!!! BEAT THE NITTY LION'S

  • while im a gator fan, i would have loved for USC to play UF in the national title, and to be honest USC would win

  • This was probably the best I'd ever seen us do a pre-game...I mean ever. Everyone was so pumped for the game in the tunnel

Just listen to the Tubas on Tusk and Tribute!

There I am, 2nd Tuba in, top of the "a"

  • F-ing awesome!! U-C-L-A SUCKS

Fight On! Trojan Nation Fight On!

  • If they is any sooner fan thats says they are the best at #4 please look at this game and shut up...

  • that was done really well. impressive.

    fight on!

  • Tv networks should air the pre-game festivities in full instead of just a 30 second clip - then cut out those god awful halftime shows.

  • Best fucking pregame ever!

  • Wow. I didn't know they played "Tusk" at pregame at this Orange Bowl! How funny! I can't imagine what the non-USC fans were thinking when the 'SC fans were screaming "U-C-L-A SUCKS!" to the music.

And by the way, Texas A & M may have a great band but they still don't have 2 triple-platinum albums and multiple movie and video performances. And they will never be "The Greatest Marching Band in the History of the Universe", ever.

    FIGHT ON!

  • fight on!

  • To be objective, several collegiate bands may claim they're the best band in the land, but the Spirit of Troy holds the title of "The Greatest Marching Band in History of the Universe." The band does have every reason to be called by that.

  • "Tribute to Troy" can be kind of a secondary fight song, but the band also plays after almost every defensive play. Plus, it is (at least partially) intended to annoy opposing fans, detractors, and such.

Additionally, no matter where the football team goes, home or away, the band is ALWAYS there. The band has played for at least 250 consecutive games.

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW USC marching band the best.

    FIGHT ON!

  • I was in the stadium when the band played Conquest and it was, BY FAR, the loudest fan SC fan participation I have ever witnessed. I was sitting in a mixed OU/SC section and the Sooner fans were very impressed and a little intimidated. Just a great night for Southern Cal!

  • Holy Crap that was amazing.

    FIGHT ON!

  • I LOVE USC!!!! but in my heart of hearts i wish they would have done the "beat the sooners" part of conquest. o well. we won. FIGHT ON!!!!!!!

  • the best pregame EVER!!!

  • This is fucking nuts.

  • realy cool

  • Hell yeah! Those Sooners didn't stand a chance that game!
