  • Non-fluent aphasia - Brocas area, not Wernickes aphasia which is fluent and non-sensical.

Is a problem with production of speech, the co-ordination and articulation rather than comprehension and processing of speech.

Isnt stuttering the prolongnation or repetition of the same syllable or word?

  • Guys, this is STUTTERING not Aphasia. The guy is not forgetting words but rather stuck in them.

    Regards

  • my gosh that's me right there! i call it "getting stuck"

  • He trips over a ton of words! I can see it's like forgetting the answers to a test. Communication has become tough for him since words walk through so much molasses. I feel bad for him.

  • @WizardOfHumor1989 yes, that's exactly how i feel. kudos to him for trying! did i use the right phrase? sometimes i don't know my own language some days!
