thanks for ur tutorial i have a question every time i match the audio with the video it looks like the audio skips a little do u know how to fix that?

Question: When I put music in, added to a muted animation, I hear these beats in the song that aren't actually in it, Final Cut is doing something weird. How do I get rid of the beats so that it sounds good, because the beats aren't even lining up with the beats in the song

@EvilAlligator try rendering, or try reimporting, if that doesn't work export the song through Quicktime into another .wav file and import it. jus trouble shoot

I have a problem with my audio when I resize my clips the audio does not resize when I resize my clips I know it is linked together because the link audio option is checked but it still does not stay together I want to have the audio from the clips stay together this is the first time this has happend to me do you know how to fix it?

@Mastersun88 The linking option is on but they probably aren't linked together. Highlight both the audio and video and press Command L (or go under the Modify menu and press Link). Then they should be linked and resize uniformly.

Hey quick question (i think), just watche this vid and followed along in my FCE, I wonder is the fade in & fade out for music achieved by keymarkers opposed to the simple iMovie radio button you can press in audio options? Hoping there's a shortcut rather than having to adding markers... maybe not? I spose I just add one at normal sound track level then one more at the end at -100 and it will fade down then anyways yeah?

@galaxydreaming you have the most control when you keyframe it. you could add a cross fade transition however

the original one? tracks are layers, you can have as many as you need, more than 30 i know for sure. get final cut, its now the industry standard.

That is EXACTLY what I'm looking for right now on YouTube. Check my vids. The sound is horrid as I'm using a CoolPix digital camera. I want to be able to sync the music with logic with the audio from the camera.

I've been watching a few of this guys tutorials and he's great so I think I may shoot him an e-mail.
