@slannmage Look, the thing is that the longer Kimi is out of F1, the harder it will be for him to come back....Kimi has most likely planned to drive only 1 year at Williams, to show other that he still got the skillz, and then if/when Mark Webber or Schumi retire after 2012, he could get to either RedBull or Mercedes...its better to come to drive Williams next year, to learn the new tracks like Korea and India, learn about the new tyres and DRS, than to be yet another year out of F1.

Where Kimi supposedly had his biggest downfall was delevoping the car [we know how bad kimi's communication skills are!!] and his motivation. After Kimi won the championship it looked like he didnt care anymore. In my opinion, Kimi could have been one of the best drivers of all time - he just wasnt bothered driving to his best.

He'd better move out of F1 before something terrible happens to him due to the obvious changes in his driving ability, especially the consistency of his driving. Raikkonen better in the first half is bullshit. He and Massa were level on points after 9 races. Also in 2009 Massa was trouncing Kimi. He had 22 points to Kimi's 10 before his accident. Reliability issues cost Massa at least a top 5 finish in australia and a top 5 finish in china. Let's not forget his collision in bahrain and fuel irregularities in spain as well.

aaand it's official, kimi will not be in f1, atleast not next year. mclaren and him couldn't get to an agreement. hes manager said so in a local news site/paper here (finland) so i guess it's rally for next year for kimi.
