Fancy seeing Maxine Sullivan and John Kirby mentioned below. I has a 78 of John Kirby playing "Undecided" with "From A flat to C" on the flip side. I thank my parents for my jazz education.
I love to listen to Maxine Sullivan singing with Scott Hamilton.
One of the Best Female Jazz vocalist of our time. Should be up there with Billy Holiday, Ella, Anita O Day etc........ Very Underrated!! One of my favorites by far!!
Actually, she recorded this with Thornhill's band on June 29, 1938, but it wasn't released until '39. Bobby Hackett, Buddy Rich and John Kirby are among the "bunch" featured here; in fact, she cut another version of the song with Kirby's ensemble for Columbia in May 1940.
that was a realy nice song and the record is in a very good condision i think i have the same song on a 78 but i dont think mine is with Maxine Sullivan

Stumbled across her doing 'Skylark' last year, and she blew me away--- but I hadn't heard this before. Man, she's good.
