Have you tried to handle her a few times? If this is not working every so often stick your hand in the cage and after some waiting around she should eventually come to investigate. (Though she may not come on the first atempt) Just keep doing this a few times each day and when you feel the time is right you can gradually move on form there.
Tumours are fairly comon in femail rats as they get older. Just be sure to check and you'll notice them early enough. As soon as one apears you should get it removed as soon as pos no matter how small. Three out of six rats I have owned have had tumours (They all had oporations and there were no problems.)
95% of mammary tumors and about 90% of pituitary tumors can be prevented by having your rat spayed. Always choose a vet with experience. If they do not use a heating pad the rat can die of hypothermia during the operation. Don't want that!!

Te he he thanks. I want to make a video that focuses on little Cheddar cause in most of my videos you see a lot of Twiglet and not much of her. Thats probably because most of my videos are training videos and Cheddar doesn't pick up tricks as quick as Twiglet ; P

I feed my rats healthy food not including the rat food at the store, will that add years to their life and reduce the percentage of a tumor???

It does cost quite a bit but its not that bad. Twiglet is getting one removed today.
