  • Chris seemed pretty pissed that they couldn't get Steve a working mic.

  • Is there a better opening track for an album? I think not.

  • Brian has the baddest of all bass tones. What head is that? Give it.

  • I'd also like to know what head he uses.

  • Ampeg SVT Pro. Just asked him last night when I saw them at Subterranean in Chicago.

  • it's a delay. turn the feedback knob all the way up.

  • i had to correct sorry. I usually don't give a sh*t. it's a akai headrush looping a sample of a few milliseconds.

  • @juka421 No its definitely not.

  • At The drive in moving:-/

  • Fail comment is fail.

  • Bacilus is right actually.

And Cedric was inspired by Jello Biafra

  • God, you guys are fucking gimps....

  • i use a line 6 echo park its not as good as a dl4 but does the trick if you can work it properly. just set it to standard delay then turn it up superfast and infinite repeat.

  • Steve Snere is amazingly energetic when he performs.

  • CHECK THIS OUT!!!...(http://www.last.fm/music/These+Arms+Are+Snakes/Easter?autostart)...it's the preview for THESE ARMS ARE SNAKES's upcoming album EASTER

  • love this band. Cant hear the vocals though :(

  • I was there!

  • Oh man, what a performance. Does anyone have any idea how they achieve that tremelo/delay effect on the bass and guitars?

  • the guitar player and bass player both use a line 6 delay modeler to achieve that sound.

it's set on the "loop" function, and what they do is tap it really quick, and it loops that one note super fast until they hit the pedal again to stop it.

this can be done on any delay pedal that has a loop function.

  • yes, i understand that, but, does anyone know how they get that sound with consecutive notes in a row as witnessed later in the sound both by guitar and bass...

  • sounds like a really fast tremolo. i don't have a tremolo pedal, so i wouldn't know, though. It could also be a delay, but i'd say not, because to do that, they'd have to turn it on and off every time they played another note

  • It's a sample, foot triggered on and off.

  • thank you for this

  • of the highest quality.

  • Great video, but, you can't hear what the legendary Steve Snere is saying.
