  • Great stuff. Thanks for sharing your experience. I've been more or less the same weight for three years on a vegan diet because that's what I want to weigh. When I gain too much, I immediately lose it at will. I'll be increasing my calories in a few months though.

  • Lol strong joke video.

  • You must have looked like an auschwitz victim before this.

  • Do you also ride bicycles?

  • Hello there! Have you tried - fast abs magic (google it)? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my buddy got really defined 6 pack abs and lost crazy amounts of belly fat with it.

  • This guy knows what he's doing, he's just hyping it up like all the other scam artists out there.

  • i can guarantee you its IMPOSSIBLE to build muscle that fast even on steroids. You don't know the difference between muscle and fat and you prob can't read a scale. If you gained that much muscle that fast you would be in a lab cut into a million pieces, use google you might learn how to lie with more realistic results

  • @SIHTTLAEKR Dude how big was arnold before he gained the 20 pounds? was he small like this guy was or are you talkin about when he was already jacked and then put on another 20, big fucking difference. How the hell is eating more cal's not going to make it possible to build more muscle? isn't that common knowledge

  • Dude you're an idiot, eating more calories is NOT going to increase the amount of muscle you build. You have no idea about physiology and nutrition, you're living in a fantasy land if you think you gained 22lbs of muscle in 50 days, watch arnold swatnigger he gained 20lbs in ONE YEAR WITH STEROIDS.

  • hahahhaha is this a joke, vegan diet my balls that shit is so unhealthy, be a human and eat some meat

  • Comment removed

  • You haven't gained 20 pounds in 50 days. That's impossible. I've been working out for 8 months with extreme intensity, heavy compound lifts 4 days a week while consuming 2500 calories daily, almost all from raw foods. I have only gained 5kg (12lbs)

  • @SIHTTLAEKR You are quite right I didn't gain 20lbs in 50 days! I gained 22lbs in 50 days! Try increasing your calories. I was eating between 5000 and 6000 calories a day to achieve this, plus absorption of nutrients is important. through many fasts and cleanses my digetive tract is clean as a whistle and so my uptake of nutrients is exceptional. Do some juice cleanses and fasts and you will find that you will gain much easier after this.

  • @SIHTTLAEKR You just told us your problem. 2500 calories a day is a JOKE. Bump it up to 5000+ a day

  • On you website:

Fatal error: Class 'PDO' not found in /home/ohn/public_html/dap/inc/classes/Dap_Connection.class.php on line 19

  • eat some meat boy

  • @batterycock Am I making you nervous?

  • congratz man . rip those muscles . show them the world you can get ripped with vegan diet

  • Really amazing! This would be front page news in a sane world.

  • LOL what fat... I don't see any ;) Dude you're riippppeeed. Thanks for being an amazing example of a healthy and fit vegan!

  • @rawnutritiontips Thanks, much appreciated! : )

  • P.S. What is your procedure for instructing your subconscious (unconscious) mind to make happen what you want to happen? I'd like to implement this into my practices. thx.

  • @rawrichnfitforlife Write down the specific goal you want to achieve. Then write down all the reasons why it is important that you achieve it. The more reasons the stronger the magnetic charge is to attract it. Visualise the end result as often as possible making it your most dominant thought. Take daily actions towards its achievement.

  • Hi Matthew, How do you do 6-8 meals per day & get the rest neeed-if I sleep from 8pm to 5am & ate at say 6am,9am,12pm,3pm & 6pm, that's 5 meals. Should I not wait for 3 hours between meals? How much time do you have between meals? You said that you follow your intuition. Does that mean you just eat when you feel the go-ahead to do so & sleep in the same way?

  • @rawrichnfitforlife I know bodybuilders who eat every two hours and eat within 30 minutes of waking and a protein shake directly before bed, which makes 8 meals a day. Some even wake in the middle of the night to down another protein shake. i don't recommend this but if you want to get another meal in you will find a a way. I sleep 7 hours a night so have a few more hours in the day than you.

  • looking forward to your next vids !

  • Hi Matthew,

I'm hoping you can be of help to me.

I've been doing body scultping ( 1 hour for 4 days out of the week) for 4 months now. I'm seeing some muscle definition. I'm on raw foods. I started with some protein supps and spirulina etc but I've been cutting those out now. Just sunwarrior protein a few times each week.

I'm 5'2, female, and weight 115 with some muscle. I'm taking in about 2,000 -2,500 calories. Is this enough for body sculpting? doing heavy weight lifting.

  • @Rawperuana It's not really an answerable question as there are so many variables, regarding your metabolism, what else you do when you are not at the gym, were your calories are coming from etc etc. if you are getting results that is good. if you are training to build muscle and are heavy lifting then you are over training with 4 hours a week. Try cutting it down to 3 hours a week and train with even more intensity and see how it goes. I get best results with less than an hour per week.

  • Very inspiring Matt! I'm dealing with low back pain now, 2.5 months vegan. Definitely going to pack on the "beef" when it passes. ; )

    Thanks!

  • @rmalta69 : )

  • Thanks Matthew.

  • Are you combining your rice and beans together? That would be a scary food combo!

  • @rzarzarzarza84 Why is that a scary food combo?

  • @BeYourPotential Mixing any carbs specially complex carbs with proteins is so hard on the body, I thought that was comman sense! I suggest you check out Dr Morse's channel for more education or Dr Graham too! :)

  • @rzarzarzarza84 I recommend you check out the nutritional values of beans and brown rice. They are both high carb, medium protein, and low fat. I teach basic food combining in my book. Not fully masticating food is hard on the body. Predigesting food in the mouth before swallowing is a blessing for the body! : )

  • @rzarzarzarza84 You are correct. Combining starch with protein is not good food combining. Beans are a starch and protein and really shouldn't be eaten. I used to eat beans thinking they are healthy and always had gas and bloating. Beans are terrible.

  • @brandonx19 Chew chew chew your food for good digestion. "Beans are terrible" is completely subjective and nothing to do with the truth. The digestive tract is not really for digestion, it is more of an absorption tract. Digestion happens in the mouth and no matter what I have eaten in any combination I have never had bloating or any problems. Drink your solids and chew your liquids.

  • looking good Matt!!!!

  • Hi Matt: How many grams of protein do you figure you take in each day. I try to get 70-80g a day in. I have read you only need about 35g a day but I do weights 3 times a week so try and stick to the conservative 1g protein per kg of lean body weight.

  • @tbayguy Hi, I don't measure protein or count calories. I set my goals and tell my unconscious mind what I want to happen and then am intuitively guided. I appreciate that this can be frustrating for academic and left brain thinking, but this is my way. I was the guy in math class that never showed his working out but seemed to get the correct answer and pass the tests.

  • @BeYourPotential oh i could never do that. I have to do stuff by order and exactness. Tonight I found out my trainer is moving away in 6 weeks just before she was suppose to help me lose the last 50 lbs doing circuit training with her and core since I am no good at that, just weights and treadmill. Thats a bummer and will make my depression worse and hopefully not derail me :(

  • It is very easy to gein weight after 100 days of just juicing. The body just returns to it's original shape. Try to gein 30 pounds on top of your normal weight than show it to us.

  • @BrainDetox If it is so easy then you show me! ; )

  • youre a good physical specimen Matthew. great to be learning and being inspired by you :) a healthy body works wonders doesnt it. peace n compassionate fearless truth n living - Owen :)

  • @0wenfox Thanks Owen. Peace. : )

  • good man - looking terrific - great job! And your attitude is absolutely spot on.

  • Great job!

  • Well done. This is an important journey that can help a lot of people.

  • Kundalini builds muscle!

  • Matt, it seems like you have broken through a lot of the myths surrounding plant based diets. I am wondering what your eating and if your upping your protein? Added protein is a myth. Have you figured out that you do NOT have to overload yourself with protein to build muscle? Check out "How much Protein" by Brad Pilon. It shows that 1. most studies are funded by supplement companies. 2. Average amounts of protein 50-70 grams per day are all that is needed. Training builds muscle.

  • 2000+ calorie diet per day, spread out between 4-5 meals

1 gm of protein - per lb of body weight

    1/2 - 3/4 gallons of water

    full vitamin-mineral nutrition

then add in your weight training, cardio, massage, meditation and you should be good to go

whether or not you can maintain this year after year, season after season, is another story

  • Comment removed

  • @cool70200 *correction, the protein amount per day seems to be controversial, or depends on who you ask.

  • @cool70200 Your still living the myth. A 200 pound man does not need 200 grams of protein a day. No, not even to build muscle. it's a myth, it's been proven. protein in excess of 60-80 grams per day does nothing.

  • @mikecazzx ok

  • Those tough guys are still at the gym. They are in the bathroom trying to actually go, but due to the rotting flesh and lack of fiber it's not working for them.

  • I think your going to demonstrate something, including where programs like P90X fail. We think we need to be weight training 3 days a week for 45 minutes a day sometimes more. I believe it's now being proven less is sometimes more. The body needs that rest to recover and build. Weight and measurements are great, however, if your not testing bodyfat % with even a basic electronic scale that can show bodyfat %, how can you claim everything your adding is muscle?

  • @mikecazzx An exact body fat reading is actually quite difficult to measure as different measuring devices will give out different readings, as much as 5% difference! I am going to purchase some basic calipers which are as good as anything. I think a visual on a video is better than any reading that I could read out to you. Thanks for all your input Mike!

  • @BeYourPotential I agree, but if you did the test every day at the same time, it would be good enough to verify the claims in this video. You look great, I mean to take nothing away from that fact.

  • @BeYourPotential

Good idea on getting some calipers, i think i will invest in some tomorrow! Love your vids man, great stuff.

  • I can already see the improvement :)
