Does anyone know of a good stick that that has a stick handle instead of a ball handle? I learned on a stick handle in my ghetto arcade and got better using them.
waste of money i dont button mash and less than 1 month the buttons are not responsive at all plus its has no mod option like madcatz se which gives yoou the option to mod with sanwa parts that are found in the TE verssion so pleas do not buy this stick waste of money after playing with this shit iv realised money saving option isnt worth it if you really like playing sf i now ordered the TE after being so dissapointed by the buttons on this crap not the joystic its okish
I dont think anybody will answer my question, but well. Is there any arcade stick working with the Dreamcast, SNES and PS3? Or are there adapters that can allow me to use arcade stick xyz on all three consoles?
i got one of these. last time i used a joystick was years ago in the arcade dont ever remember curving the stick and feeling a jolt in each corner. is this something got to do with 8way or 4way? send me a mesg caus i wont check back
I wanna buy this stick but i dont know... i want to play street fighter 4 with it but the madcatz is good too. Which one do you prefer the hori or madcatz?
are you referring to the madcats SE or TE? the SE is really like the same quality as this hori one so i guess it would come down to wich case you like better. i would probably go with the SE, but if you can afford the te and can find one get one of those.
it plays pretty good would rather use this than the controller, i also liked it enough to buy the hori wii one to. But if your looking for a stick to take to tournaments and such then build your own or try and get te stick but for casual play you will like it just fine.
shure it is whats the difrence between jap n usa. i find the jap sticks to be more responsive scence they have a shorter throw. dont get me wrong i love the usa hap sticks and my mk2 cab has them but they are no better than the jap sticks. like i said before its a preference some people just cant play well on a jap stick.
I play well with square pegs instead of round ones. I feel mortal kombat should be played on a keyboard or a gamepad due to the fact that 100% of the moves use a one two input rather than geometrical inputs and all that jazz.
ya i use it to hit run button im a mortal kombat player and the mortal kombat button layout has the run button drop down so it is really easy to hit the run button with my thumb, its also not so bad on this 4 button layout to reach.
yeah, i got one of the hori fighting stick 3 controllers and i think that they are great and durable. people that swap out the parts are going overboard in my opinion. i've been using mine for a year and i got no problems or complaints. though i might try the hori arcade pro just to see what all the hype is about, but i don't really expect that much of a difference in the two hori arcade sticks.
people are too fucking pickey. they like the sanwa buttons because the way they sound? who the fuck cares they do the same thing? i ordered this same fighting stick off ebay and i am still waiting for it to come but the only modification i'm doing is just replacing the ball top with a bat top joystick. no need to modify all the bullshit.
my gamestop had ordered a couple of them so try there. and my ps3 has always been able to play ps2, and ps1 games i have one of the first ones and it is a 80gig. the game i play in the video is a ps1 game.
i only have a EB games here (lame canadian version of gamestop) also i meant can the arcade stick play ps2 fighters, like street fighter, and king of fighter games and so on.
seriously why is everyone shit talking bout this arcade stick its perfectly fine. and i cant see why they complain about the buttom placement, sure it might be a little close to the joystick but thats it. its designed to align your fingers thats why the second button is the highest (middle finger, etc.
also if ppl are so used to the american arcade sticks then go get an arcade i myself prefer the jap ones, and you'll see most ppl in tournaments will use jap arcade style sticks not american ones
no not this one. i just finished building my mortal kombat arcade stick for 360 just have to add the final touches ill upload a video 2marow if you want to check it out.
theres one for the 360, each console basically has its own exclusive hori stick, the 360 one is called hori fighting stick EX2 lots more vids about that stick here on youtube.

Holy shit, I know this is off topic but is that a 20GB PS3 model?
Interesting stick though, I don't think the MK9 T.E will be coming to the UK, and my SSF4 T.E definitely isn't gonna cut it. Thanks for the heads up.
