Great tips but did anybody else notice with all that great d it was steal a close game and at one point he was losing so basically if the person knows how to beat the trap your screwed because you have no defense down the court for a easy lay up or open jumper especially with a team that can spread the floor with great jump shooters

offensive tempo is dumb, its how fast you move the ball around and thats just based on how much you pass. attack the basket is dumb too, you control whether or not your players drive to the rim -.-

why would it be cheesy to do this if there is a full court press . ok not much in the nba until the end of the game but u can still play it. there always ways to counter it so just figure it out . if i could do this all game and get easy buckets why would anyone not do it. it just on u to know how to counter it . stop complaining

@krismommmyremember... just because you get the lakers, heat, mavs, etc. doesnt necessarily means you will win..lol...however you do get a edge on 50/50 balls, less turn overs, and rebounds...when comparing heat to timberwolves..but you still have to have skills...

@MrNeyus i play wit the nets..so i know exactly what you mean!!.. make sure you play everyone tight.. push up you defense slider and help defense to 100, and always double team the star and itll help somewhat...but on 2k12 they made sure a overall bad defensive team want out shine the best teams no matter how hard you play...thats why i hate this one..because you almost have to play with a winning team...2k 10 and 11 wasnt like that...it relied strickly on skills...

This isn't cheesing because it is easy to beat. Anyone watching this, wondering how to beat this.... just be patient with your good ball handler, wait till you find the open man and get two points. Pretty simple to beat this defense.
