This is exactly why I love Pugs, because they make you laugh and actually have characteristics and personality. Not simple like golden retrievers. Those are boring dogs, pugs are clowns.
My pug does the exact same thing and I even put my head right next to him but he never ever tries to bite. He just gives up after 3-4 min. and lets me be there. If I leave and come back he starts all over again.!
guys just turn on the captions option in the video and watch it.
IT LOOKS LIKE THE PUG'S INTENTION IN DOING THAT WAY IS MAD.(like he is growling by thinking those mad words).i too have a pug which growls that way but not that xtreme
Oh what a handsome boy and such a lovely disposition ... lol ... for a second I thought his eyeball was going to pop out of his skull ... you could sell these sound effects to George Lucas for the next star wars movie. :P Great video!!
Hahah, thats funny. Pugs are such a strange breed... they have such BIG personalities. My pug is with us visiting some family, and shes pack leader over a rottwieler. weird...she tries to always be with people though... she thinks shes a human sometimes...
My pug use to get like that too... greasy is a way to describe their actions as dominative/protective/vicious. and by "they dont have to be like that" It means you can train him to not be so agressive with his bone or toy. Pepper got greasy with her bone like that ONCE, and bit a 3 yr old girl...thats why I said he's a little greasy with his bone. Nothing to be offensive...
oh i see, yes, that is the only time he does that. he has never bit anyone but i feel like he likes the attention. he purposely takes his bone near me and i dont even go for the bone and he growls. but only with that kind of treat, no other.
