@Neville6000 Actually yes it is, and I'm not being a troll, you're being an ass-hole. The musical at least is funny. Superman Returns is misguided nostalgia crap.
Dallas Theater Center (dtc.org) is presenting a revisal of this show in Dallas until July 25, 2010 with Patrick Cassidy playing Max, the role his dad played on Bdway. Look at the site.
I just got an autographed copy of "Superman on Broadway" by Bob Holiday, Broadway's Superman. I have a feeling this was incredible on Broadway, but got a poor treatment on TV. Holiday, Jack Cassidy, Linda Lavin...what an amazing cast. I wish video had been made of the Broadway play. PS Bob Holiday is an INCREDIBLE guy. I treasure the book, his inscription, and wish he'd get more props for playing the part. Bob WAS the 60's only real Superman.
I'm used to much things..i mean Batman singin' in JLU...also in Brave and Bold....but THAT....now Sups lost every respect he had form me XD give me MOAR!!!!
i just changed my life.....i have never laughed this hard in my entire life. and the weird part it was the most ridiculous thing i ever seen in my entire life. thank you hrguerra and thank you mr terrible musical creator!
The musical is much better than this. This was a camped up TV version that was a disaster. It's hard to believe something can be this awful. I saw the musical live on Bway and also at Goodspeed Opera House. It's great fun.
excuse me...the musical that this TV version was based on existed long before even the first Superman movie...it's too bad, though, that somehow some of the money that David Newman and Robert Benton made from writing those screenplays couldn't have come back to the investors of the musical...it doesn't seem to me that this TV version looks very good. So even if it was broadcast more than once, I doubt it would have recouped their investment from the musical.
@salahhe you would know exactly that feels wouldn't you?

No, people think musicals are gay because they are. They feel just like a dick in the ass.

It's difficult to mime fighting AND lip synch at the same time. This guy appears to be doing two other different things entirely.

@KingCharltonHeston: No, it isn't, and you're just being a troll. Also, this musical lost something in translation to TV, obviously.
