I live about 4 or 5 hours away from there and have visted about 5 times. It's really amazing, but scary in some parts lol. Each time I go back he has a new addition to the castle. The last time I was there was about 3 years ago, and he was digging a moat all by himself. I wonder what else he has done to it thus far.

As for the car example, it depends--did the car crash because of driver error or because there was something inherently wrong with the design of the car?

If you do anything in that castle, you do so at your own risk, clearly stated in any of the signs. If it looks unsafe, don't do it. It's a free attraction with tons of signage to warn you, so don't do it and nothing to cry about
