SC 2 isnt a very macro game but that why i love it. for example u can put multiple building in the same saved control slot = ctrl + number. So that save alot alot of time management... and btw do u really love playing 300 apm in BW?

Why do people consistantly talk about SC1 being more balanced then SCII? SCII just recently came out so of course it's not balanced. When SC1 was released is was far from balanced. It took blizzard about 8 years after the games release to finally perfect the balance. BW is however far more macro intensive then SCII. The reason I believe they made the game that way is because the units now have more abilities which makes macroing harder when you have to use double the micro unless terran.

@Thschris The game is that way because of technical limitations.. Everyone acts like BW is perfect and exactly how Blizzard designed it and everything, but developers always have tons of ideas and cool things that they either don't have the time to implement in their game, or simply don't have the technology available to them to make it happen. Example= Infinite unit select in SC2, I'm sure that was supposed to be in SC1. Technical limitation. BW being more macro intensive is a side-effect.

SC2 players? And by SC2 players, who are you referring to? Majority of the SC2 players have played BW before, and they would definitely agree that BW is more balanced than SC2.
