Hi thanks for sharing... That Celestion of yours sounds great on the clean side, but found it to be too muddy on the overdrive side (to my taste)... I am using an Eminence 10" Ragin Cajun... and man... it sounds warmer than this celestion on the overdrive... I love the Frontman 25R great little amp... cheap too!

That sounds sweet! I put a celestion 10" 30w tube speaker in mine,it sounds great, I can get a little natural distortion out of it too.

Great amp.., I own one.. agreed the speaker swap makes a huge difference. Put in a ragin cajun and it doubles the sound quality.. For all the nay sayers that slam it for its OD channel... you dont buy this amp for the OD channel.. you buy it for the very good fender clean tone it throws. Buy a marshall if you want OD.. This amp is great... Throw a pedal in front for dirt.. This amp will take a boss metal zone and shred.. its just a kick ass amp!!!!!!!

@wedge070 I have this amp too, but when I bought it I was just playing my acoustic electric cheapo Ibanez on it. Tomorrow if all goes well I plan on coming home with an actual electric guitar.. Problem is, the one I hope to buy has P90 pickups on it which aren't best for the clean sound,so I'll probably be playing it on the OD channel a lot. My question to you is without a pedal can i still be expecting a decent sound?

@sadiafonseca Decent??? Depends... the amp od/distortion is typical SS sound wise. A pedal will make it sound fuller/richer. Clean wise.. the amp stands tall, but the od channel lacks some oomph. A boss ds-1 (40 buck at mus friend) will make a monster difference.. but p90's wont sound bad clean.. just bump up the treble... I also use a bad monkey od pedal... sounds great on this amp..
