Hans Vonk
Saint Just - wot a place, impossible to say quite why it's such a lovely place, the people? The pubs? Yep! - both of 'em. Get yerself to Lafrowda fortnight in July.
hi guys there is a song jethro sang at the end of one of his videos goes somethin like cornwall forever my home or somethin like that could anyone tell me wat its called an who sang it or did jethro jus make it up also could u tell me wat video its from thanks x
i've seen jethro for the last three years in tunbridge wells-man this guy is funny, but i think i enjoy his singing even more, i'd pay good money to sit and listen to this for a few hours
To anyone who hasn't seen him Live, I highly recommend it. He had the entire theatre in stitches all evening. He also did a song at the end. And what's more, that backup singer in this vid also did a few songs himself. He did songs such as 'You Raise me up' etc. Bloody good singing voice. His name is Shaun Perry. My mum also got a CD of him during the evening too.
i've have not been to is club but see him many times in oakengates which is in telford shropshire, i'm cornish my self and think he is a great, my mum and dad had tickets to see him 12 year ago but before the show my dad was taken in to hospital so he missed the show, me and my family saw jef in the bar after the show and told him about him been in hosp,he was great and was going to phone him in the hospital but it was to late in the night to ring him so in steed he gave me 2 vid to give him.
my late partner was a friend of jefs wife back in the 90s and we spent many a great time at his club, in lewdown most weekends we went down there from margate, and stayed the weekend. when my partner died in 2001 jefs wife came, also one weekend we went down there and on the sunday morn had breakfast with jim davidson.
@MrMercuryKingOfQueen it's in England though and English people live there dont they,i cant tell a cornish man from and English man ,Jethro's great aint he
As Penzance Man Born and Bred,(Heamoor) this song by Jethro to me, says it all,,,I have fond memories of playing Rugby for St. Just RFC,and the scars to prove it, was it worth it?? Hell Yes!! Tommy Vigus Where are you now?? and of course one of my first ever Girlfriends who I met on the Scillonian on the way to the Scillies came from St Just Madelaine T. ...Good times & great memories..
St.Just is the best of Cornish towns, the people have touched my heart and I dream that one day I might live there. A pint or two in The Star each night, could life get any better. A walk down the Cot Valley and on the Beach at Porth Nanven at low tide - heaven!!!!
thanks for putting this up. I spent the last three years of my life in Falmouth. Amazing place, Cornwall. THANKYOU! Unfortunately, i missed his pavillion performance last summer!
Jethro come back to Cheshire and do a show miss the Cornish banter great as always
