Just because it does not emit visible light, does not mean that it gives off no radiation. It would be visible at various other wavelengths in the electromagnetic spectrum. We use radio telescopes that are sensitive to these different wavelengths and have not spotted another celestial body orbiting our sun. Therefore we can safely say that this is not plausible.

This video massively overstates how 'compelling' the evidence for Nemesis is. Not that it is impossible, but treating as something that is assumed correct is a bit of a stretch.

However, even if Nemesis were to exist, it would NOT be part of the 2012/Nibiru/Planet X story. The theory calls for an object that never comes any closer to us than the oort cloud, and we are millions of years away from the next extinction projected by this theory.

@Zzaztur You wouldn't be able to observe it. Didn't they just say it happens every 26 million years? You wouldn't be around to observe an asteroid impact and live to report it if you are taking the impact craters as an example. Asteroids don't have "sources" either. They have orbits, since they are objects let over from the creation of the solar system.
