First of all I said the Knicks are the only New York team I won't root for, I honestly like Pau Gasol more than Kobe. Guess what LeBron and D-Wade are tied for my favorite player, Kobe is not even in my top 10. In fact there are many times where I resent the way he plays, I hate when people always try to put him above Michael Jordan. Please don't assume, I have been a Lakers fan for a long time, only because the Knicks are pathetic, so I naturally would root for the NBA's best.

I have endured 6 seasons of failure and dissapointment, and I finally was rewarded with a new championship, please don't doubt my loyalty to the Lakers. They have been and always will be my team. As for baseball and football, I always go with the Yankees and it's a tie between the Giants and the Jets, I don't like football as nearly as much as basketball.

One last thing, nobody likes the Yankees, trust me I live in Washington and nobody likes the Yankees or the Lakers. Oh well we're going to get a world series title this year to go with my Lakers freshly minted NBA championship. I have waited since 2002 for a Lakers championsip and endured the following things: an embarrassing Finals loss to the Pistons in 04, no playoffs in 05, a Suns comeback in the firstround in 06, and an embarrassing Celtics beatdown in the 08 Finals. Tony douglas maybe become a decent player but hill is nothing but a bust. He´s undersized, haven´t got ANY offensive moves (j, postgame), won´t see the light against good PFs such as Duncan, Garnett, Gasol. All he got is hustle, but that isn´t going turning around a whole franchise. You need guys who can ball such as Bron, Wade, Durant, Rose. A nice fit in the knicks draftline of players such as nate, sweetney, balkman, gallinari and others who are roleplayers at best.

I know you don't give up on a team, but Stephon Marbury's not going to get any more All-Star appearances that he deserves while the Knicks are like this. I'm an Aussie and I'm no Knicks fan - my team's the Nuggets - but I hope that they can turn it around and in a couple of years, make that Playoffs.
