@iiBeTrollin47 atheism is a non-belief in supernatural phenomena. Atheists believe that our world works 100% on natural laws that we know and understand.

The thing is, I respect anyone for their religious beliefs, no matter what it is, whether they believe in God or not. Good video mate, end of the day, they're just idiots and proved that from their comments you pointed out!
It really pisses me off that as an atheist, i have to be super politically correct about my lack of beliefs, yet somehoe it's perfectly socially acceptable for an atheist to tell me that, because of my lack of belief in a higher power, i'm destined to burn in hell for all eternity. i see such a disconnect between what christians say they believe and their conduct towards non-believers.
@CountNocturnal Basically what this comes down to is that you dont want to associate with these people in any way because they act on your behalf and yet you dont agree with their message! So clearly theyre not christians, cuz you are, and you know the REAL christians, and they aint them.
Thats called the no true scotssman fallacy...look it up
I guess I must have missed the part in the ten commandments where it said, "Thou shalt not kill, unless they are athiests." Course, show me a Christian that actually knows the bible and I'll show you a 2 headed unicorn... But I do have to give thanks. It's demented morons like that who have made the number of athiests explode. Last poll I saw said athiests now outnumber christians worldwide. *sigh* One day, their fruity little club will be nothing more than an embarrassing memory.
@CountNocturnal No, just the opposite. God is a theory, and an unprovable one, just like your theory that christians didnt write those comments. There is plenty of evidence that will show you that the likelihood of God's existence is near zero, just like the likelihood that non-christians wrote those comments is near zero. In both cases, the evidence clearly points to only one logical conclusion. In both cases, its the exact opposite of the one you're choosing.
@CountNocturnal possible and probable are two different things. I could say that it wasnt a man at all who typed those messages but in fact a monkey. Now you see how stupid I sound? BUT ITS POSSIBLE!!! Get real. Not every theory has to be given credibility. They're christians, end of story.
@CountNocturnal "I love jesus and I love the cross, and anyone who doesnt should be raped"...pretty definitively a christian, buddy. Posted on FOX NEWS NETWORK, AKA the christian right's news network...i think the evidence is pretty stacked against you, pal. If you're gonna claim they're not, you're gonna have to provide better evidence than what we can all see with our own two eyes.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! HE SAID "MORAL CHRISTIANS" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
@CountNocturnal Like your belief in an invisible sky father, you make unsupported claims without evidence. You are ignorant, naive, and a good example of why Theist shouldn't be taken seriously.
@CountNocturnal Even if I were to admit that it is, which Im not, what would that matter? Not wanting a cross to go up in a public memorial warrants death threats? Are you nuts? These people are sick, and you're defense of them is just as sick.
@CountNocturnal You're a scumbag if you honestly think that atheists wrote those comments. Get over it: your brethren are sick, evil fucks who far outnumber honest, good people within your religion. Your implication that atheists wrote these comments is abhorrent. I wonder what Jesus would say about someone who defends someone using the cross as a reason for aggression...he'd probably implicate you as just as bad as the initial offender. Guess what? So do I. Fuck you, you fucking asshole.
those sick fucks. i say bring it on, come and make me believe, i dare them. i would shoot a christian just so they can see there is no god waiting for them.
These people are not real christians they just think they are. Any christian that is confident in their judgement of people, throwing stones and dehumanizing people are an insult to the faith when they should be trying to be Christ-like. Nobody is perfect but they seem to be feeding off of the others to be a bully. Bitterness mixed with shollowness is nothing to be proud of. God knows their heart and they will have to account. We reap what we sow even if it doen't happen in life. It will.
@ThoughtfulAtheist I see what you are saying. But usually when people like that are confronted about this behaviour and being dishonest to their faith they usually get defensive. Many of the christians I know do not agree with my point of view and I don't care. I don't feel right judging others. or feeling entitled to look down on others. Nor do I think they know what is going to happen after they die or how the earth was formed and other science related topics. I am cozy about how I feel.
@CriesCyanide of course theyre defensive! You're insulting their made-up beliefs! I mean, how DARE you actually know more than anyone else in this country!?! Every stupid idea deserves respect and is therefore untouchable! We can not judge them or think they're idiots because the bible actually says x, but they think it says y--thats just their interpretation, right? And its just as correct as anyone else's.
Im sorry, but I refuse to dilute myself to the point that I tolerate the intolerable.
@ThoughtfulAtheist I think that alot of them have it all wrong and it makes me a bit of an outcast among other christians. My family accepts me but they shoud at least hear me out and try to understand it but they don't. Many of them choose things from the bible that fit their needs. Many of the stories in the bible are not meant to to be taken literally. Alot of the truth in the bible is in the moral that the stories teach. They should not be judging anyone, including atheists.
That's why I fuckin hate Christians!! They are mean people that try and put their religious shit into everyones minds. They also take away our rights!! Fuck them!! Atheists rule!
I wouldn't personally call these death threats unless they were sent specifically to a certain person. These are just highly ignorant and offensive comments. Still horrible, but I wouldn't call them actual threats.
Also, have you watched ProfMTH's recent video on this?
If the memorial is privately owned, then the cross is within Constitutional Rights. I find it disturbing that so many people are responding with threats of violence over the matter. 9/11 should be a lesson on the stupidity of violence and hatred, that acceptance or at the minimum tolerance is the better path. But I guess this would be too reasonable. There were actually scores of iron crosses laying around the wreckage, part of the building's basic structure... ironically one part that failed.
"The WTC cross has become a Christian icon. It has been blessed by so-called holy men and presented as a reminder that their god, who couldn’t be bothered to stop the Muslim terrorists or prevent 3,000 people from being killed in his name, cared only enough to bestow upon us some rubble that resembles a cross.”
They're erecting it so that they can have the claim to persecution. To them this was an attack on (their Christian) nation and faith, and they want to promote this as an attack on Christianity by Muslims.
9-11 happened to all Americans, thus the monument should reflect that. Period! They're just exposing them selves as terrorists. I'm about to just call all religious people terrorists by default. They do a try to use hell to terrorize everyone. It's in their manifesto!
Why are Atheists smarter than Christians, or any other religious people? I'm not just talking about ignorance, but plain old stupidity. The grammar alone is self-evident.
probably because most people who are atheist became so after reading books about actual facts and science. Most Christian's, on the other hand, don't even bother to read the Bible
Brock's comment would have been dripping with irony, if Brock understood irony.
anyways, thisis actually deeply disturbing. even if people are just trying to talk tough, it creates the kind of atmosphere where bad things are bound to happen.
The irony of that one comment is if atheists are taking away the rights of Christians why is he allowed to say they all should be killed without repercussion?
@ThoughtfulAtheist so contradictory...and you know it this lawsuit is bullshit and it makes us look petty and stupid i cant believe you would actually support something like this and dare to use the constitution as an argument
@miasmablk I dont agree with the lawsuit in regards to the cross, but I still dont think the cross should be allowed. I think the constitutionality of the cross is debatable, and as such, the debating of the issue I will leave to those who actually can make a decision on it: the supreme court. However, building a mosque several blocks away from ground zero is really not debatable as a constitutional issue. People have a right to build mosques, period. I perhaps should have been more clear.
@BigBangNeverHappend <--Your name says it all heheh anyway Mosk at ground zero? Have you ever been to ground zero? Go there and ask to see the mosk.....kinda like asking to see the basement at the Alamo.
unlike the mosque the cross is directly on the site of ground zero. however it is not a cross but a portion of the building left standing. so it would be ok to keep it there. its like taking the letter "t" off the keyboard cause its a symbol of christianity.
@AceofDiamonds0 They will put it in a museum. Who cares? Atheists are so anti christian they even want to remove the lower case t from their keyboard. Yet they are will to accept islam.
atheists do not accept islam. we tolerate islam just like we tolerate christianity, both protected under the first amendment.
atheists do go overboard with christianity though. but when was the last time you heard of a muslim group trying to ban atheist billboards and bus adverts? plus christianity tries to pretend like it is better than islam. atheists hate all religion but christianity has a special place in our hearts.
@AceofDiamonds0 "atheists hate all religion but christianity has a special place in our hearts." this would be anti-theism, with a special drift towad xianity. some atheists are that way, and i can relate to that, but you cant speak for all of us. atheists are no unified group at all as they dont share any dogma.
I promise you, I really have no problems with the letter "t". Ya know why? 1) Nobody blessed it only to have thousands of people a day bowing their heads in reverence to it, and 2) Nobody, not even christians, are stupid enough to think a letter on a keyboard is offensive, insensitive, or riddled with bullshit symbolism about some 2000 year old dead guy.
@BigBangNeverHappend Have you ever seen Pat Condell? How about Thunderf00t? Two of the biggest atheistic channels here and they hate nothing more than Islam. Painting all atheists with a brush like that is just sheer ignorance and stupidity.
And fyi, the whole "you cant hate something that doesnt exist" argument is equally retarded. Here's a thought...maybe you hate the IDEA of something that doesnt exist, or maybe you hate the people that prescribe to the idea of something that doesnt exist...
@ThoughtfulAtheist Its not about existing or not existing. Its about religion and belief. Atheism is a religion and atheist believe in things that can't be proven.
How was anything I said here bitter, angry, or hateful? How are you able to completely sidestep the fact that people were BLATANTLY advocating the outright murder of atheists so that a christian symbol can be placed at a non-religious memorial site? Are you blind or just stupid?
I disagree with you he wasn't sidestepping the fact, he was rather inverting the facts to make it appear that the exposure of some "christians" as bloodthirsty psychopaths is the fault of the victims. That is TheAtheistAntidote's favourite trick.
@ThoughtfulAtheist I was going to say "Only in America" but we have alot of these nutters in the UK as well...just from another religion :) In general I think people should believe whatever they like...its when they have the urge to convert everyone around them that annoys me ( esp when i am enjoying a beer :) )
@TheAtheistAntidote He is being rational, reasonable and calm. He's not angry, bitter or hateful. In fact, he's exposing the anger, hate and bitterness from "christian" fundamentalists. I rejected christianity because it's not as peaceful as it promised to be.
I actually tried to look up some of these people, to send them a message questioning why they would say these things, but most of them had their privacy settings set to where I couldn't even do that, and Sindy Clock wasn't even found, which is odd because its such a unique spelling.
@Dudeatheist yeah I actually specifically looked for her too. This all happened 5 days ago, so theres a high possibility that there was some flack for that comment and she may have deleted her account. Good riddance if that is the case.
Btw as a Catholic I'm appalled that Christians use they're faith to shut out other opinions
Also "the shoot them all" notion really shows such disrespect to those who've died fo havingr a different opinion. Sure these "Christians" may have a right to be angry, but not to this extreme.
I wonder if WWII rings anyone's bell
Don't give into these hateful people TA. You are way better than they are.
@Daligostory Im not giving into anything, im just trying to bring this blatant hatred to light. Im sure you won't agree, but I think this kind of opinion is more common than is generally realized here on YT because of the nature of YT itself. I recently saw stats that reported that despite the extreme hatred of muslims in this country, atheists are still hated and/or feared more. These stigmas are still prevalent, and every once in a while, the proof shows up again and reminds us where we stand
the cross......a strange dualistic symbol....one on hand its a symbol of torture and yet also a symbol of the divine. when deep suffering meets total surrender of what is. Christians forget that thousands were tortured and killed on crosses thanks to the Romans. Those comments just show the total hypocrisy of those who claim to be Jesus-like and good Christians. such bullshit.
@dustinjr1993 no doubt, but this all happened 5 days ago now and I hadn't seen a single mention of it anywhere until I stumbled across it here. Felt it needed to be brought more into the light.
Didn't Jesus say some thing like "preach the gospel to them If they don't listen, shake the dust off your feet"? The people insisting violence do not seem to be fallowing the word of Jesus. It is a scary thing that people believe in a fairy tale so much they are will to kill if you don't.

Most are just rehashing what ma and pa told them....they are programmed to be stupid slaves with....guns apparently.

sub'd, liked and added to favorites. I'll be sure to link to this next time I'm told Christianity is a religion of love and peace.

Why are Atheists smarter than Christians, or any other religious people? I'm not just talking about ignorance, but plain old stupidity. The grammar alone is self-evident.
mark0s3000 6 months ago 5
@mark0s3000
probably because most people who are atheist became so after reading books about actual facts and science. Most Christian's, on the other hand, don't even bother to read the Bible

Brock's comment would have been dripping with irony, if Brock understood irony.
anyways, thisis actually deeply disturbing. even if people are just trying to talk tough, it creates the kind of atmosphere where bad things are bound to happen.
gothatfunk 6 months ago
The irony of that one comment is if atheists are taking away the rights of Christians why is he allowed to say they all should be killed without repercussion?
Agamum 6 months ago
Atheists are funny folks. They want to remove a cross but help building a mosk at ground zero. LMAO
fucktards
BigBangNeverHappend 6 months ago
@BigBangNeverHappend Yeah, I know...its like they actually READ the constitution...haha IDIOTS!
ThoughtfulAtheist 6 months ago 8
@ThoughtfulAtheist so contradictory...and you know it this lawsuit is bullshit and it makes us look petty and stupid i cant believe you would actually support something like this and dare to use the constitution as an argument
miasmablk 6 months ago
@miasmablk I dont agree with the lawsuit in regards to the cross, but I still dont think the cross should be allowed. I think the constitutionality of the cross is debatable, and as such, the debating of the issue I will leave to those who actually can make a decision on it: the supreme court. However, building a mosque several blocks away from ground zero is really not debatable as a constitutional issue. People have a right to build mosques, period. I perhaps should have been more clear.
ThoughtfulAtheist 6 months ago
@BigBangNeverHappend You spelled mosque wrong.

@deepashtray What a shame..... Are you going to stone me to death now? Is allah upset?
BigBangNeverHappend 6 months ago
@BigBangNeverHappend No need to worry. Last time I had a talk with the Ayatollah he assured me that they've stopped stoning the stupid.
deepashtray 6 months ago
@deepashtray I love it when muslims call me stupid. I would worry if they didn't

@BigBangNeverHappend Next time I run into one i'll be sure to pass that on.

@BigBangNeverHappend <--Your name says it all heheh anyway Mosk at ground zero? Have you ever been to ground zero? Go there and ask to see the mosk.....kinda like asking to see the basement at the Alamo.
spacem0nkey77 6 months ago
@BigBangNeverHappend
unlike the mosque the cross is directly on the site of ground zero. however it is not a cross but a portion of the building left standing. so it would be ok to keep it there. its like taking the letter "t" off the keyboard cause its a symbol of christianity.
AceofDiamonds0 6 months ago
@AceofDiamonds0 They will put it in a museum. Who cares? Atheists are so anti christian they even want to remove the lower case t from their keyboard. Yet they are will to accept islam.
BigBangNeverHappend 6 months ago
@BigBangNeverHappend
atheists do not accept islam. we tolerate islam just like we tolerate christianity, both protected under the first amendment.
atheists do go overboard with christianity though. but when was the last time you heard of a muslim group trying to ban atheist billboards and bus adverts? plus christianity tries to pretend like it is better than islam. atheists hate all religion but christianity has a special place in our hearts.
AceofDiamonds0 6 months ago
@AceofDiamonds0 "atheists hate all religion but christianity has a special place in our hearts." this would be anti-theism, with a special drift towad xianity. some atheists are that way, and i can relate to that, but you cant speak for all of us. atheists are no unified group at all as they dont share any dogma.

ttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt
I promise you, I really have no problems with the letter "t". Ya know why? 1) Nobody blessed it only to have thousands of people a day bowing their heads in reverence to it, and 2) Nobody, not even christians, are stupid enough to think a letter on a keyboard is offensive, insensitive, or riddled with bullshit symbolism about some 2000 year old dead guy.
ThoughtfulAtheist 6 months ago
@ThoughtfulAtheist Jesus never existed. He was already a myth 2000 years ago.
Atheists are obsessed about jesus because in so way they believe in his existance. You can't hate something that doesn't exist.
But thats not the point. Point is that atheists defend islam and attack christianity. Because they have to do so. Mindcontrole is a bitch.
BigBangNeverHappend 6 months ago
@BigBangNeverHappend Have you ever seen Pat Condell? How about Thunderf00t? Two of the biggest atheistic channels here and they hate nothing more than Islam. Painting all atheists with a brush like that is just sheer ignorance and stupidity.
And fyi, the whole "you cant hate something that doesnt exist" argument is equally retarded. Here's a thought...maybe you hate the IDEA of something that doesnt exist, or maybe you hate the people that prescribe to the idea of something that doesnt exist...
ThoughtfulAtheist 6 months ago
@ThoughtfulAtheist Its not about existing or not existing. Its about religion and belief. Atheism is a religion and atheist believe in things that can't be proven.
BigBangNeverHappend 6 months ago
@BigBangNeverHappend "atheist believe in things that can't be proven." False.

You guys come off like such bitter, angry, hateful people when stories like this break.
TheAtheistAntidote 6 months ago
@TheAtheistAntidote Oh hello, I see you're just as delusional as ever...
How was anything I said here bitter, angry, or hateful? How are you able to completely sidestep the fact that people were BLATANTLY advocating the outright murder of atheists so that a christian symbol can be placed at a non-religious memorial site? Are you blind or just stupid?
ThoughtfulAtheist 6 months ago 29
@ThoughtfulAtheist
Brock was referring to the Christians of course. Didn't you hear? Turns out Brock was an atheist all along, it was all an act.
chaoszieg 6 months ago
@ThoughtfulAtheist

@TheAtheistAntidote what would you have said if atheists was threatening christians? what would fox have said? shame on you!
you can't possibly be a follower of christ if you defend this kind of behaviour...

Now that we have their names, can't we just hunt them all down, kill them and their families, burn their houses down and rape their pets?

I actually tried to look up some of these people, to send them a message questioning why they would say these things, but most of them had their privacy settings set to where I couldn't even do that, and Sindy Clock wasn't even found, which is odd because its such a unique spelling.

"Snails have more rights"?
What does that even mean?
Btw as a Catholic I'm appalled that Christians use they're faith to shut out other opinions
Also "the shoot them all" notion really shows such disrespect to those who've died fo havingr a different opinion. Sure these "Christians" may have a right to be angry, but not to this extreme.
I wonder if WWII rings anyone's bell
Don't give into these hateful people TA. You are way better than they are.
Daligostory 6 months ago
@Daligostory Im not giving into anything, im just trying to bring this blatant hatred to light. Im sure you won't agree, but I think this kind of opinion is more common than is generally realized here on YT because of the nature of YT itself. I recently saw stats that reported that despite the extreme hatred of muslims in this country, atheists are still hated and/or feared more. These stigmas are still prevalent, and every once in a while, the proof shows up again and reminds us where we stand
ThoughtfulAtheist 6 months ago
@Daligostory The Catholic Church has of course never been guilty of any form of censorship or coercion at any time during its history, has it?
MartinJWillett 6 months ago
the cross......a strange dualistic symbol....one on hand its a symbol of torture and yet also a symbol of the divine. when deep suffering meets total surrender of what is. Christians forget that thousands were tortured and killed on crosses thanks to the Romans. Those comments just show the total hypocrisy of those who claim to be Jesus-like and good Christians. such bullshit.
jakluk4 6 months ago
@jakluk4 "thousands were tortured and killed on crosses thanks to the Romans" and millions were tortured and killed thanks to the xians.
