@nickelback18 ATM a 2007 Honda Civic. But I have driven dozens of stick shift cars (automatics are unusual here in the UK), all of which have started without the clutch. Maybe your car has an immobiliser safeguard that needs the clutch pushed in before you can start it?
@nickelback18 its an older car. older cars dont need to have the clutch disengaged, mind it is a good idea. the only reason you'd put the clutch in when your starting a car is to reduce resistance on the starter. the less stuff the starter has to try and move the better.
I'm curious what year make and model is the animation from of the car she is trying to get started? I love how it sounds, as she is trying to get it started.
