There are 2 ways to minimize the massive trade deficit that is killing this country and has destroyed our manufacturing base: 1 - import tarriffs (but that would spark a global trade war such as the one that extended the great depression.) 2 - Let the market determine wages rather than artificial minimum wages set up by brain dead bureaucrats.

I am a republican and I voted for Paul LePage. I am also a musician and have a sense of humor. You guys did a good job with this song. I just don't understand why liberals and democrats are so gloom and doom on LePage. He will be better than Baldacci, mark my word. There are times in the history of any business that decisions have to be made that while painful for everyone are necessary for the survival of the company and the rest of that company's jobs. What Governor-Elect LePage realizes is that pro-growth policies will increase the pool of employers that will compete for Maine's workers.

So we have hadlockslugger here, still pushing that crazy-*ssed study from Forbes, the one that says that New Jersey (!!) has a better quality of life than Maine. Shucks, that Forbes piece is a bunch of junk. If Maine is so bad for business, why is our unemployment rate better than the national average and why do 46 states have higher rates of foreclosures. You been fooled and don't come complaining when your property taxes go up to pay for cuts in state aid to the schools.
