This game is ok, I recommend renting it because you'll prolly beat it within a week. Pretty much the only thing that makes this game ok is the fact that you can find playboy magazines as collectibles. And nuthin's censored.

@THEPANTSWEREDEAD I never said it was the only good part. I just said it was the best part, this game is enjoyable but it's more limited than games I love like Red Dead Redemption and GTA4. In this you don't get a map that's very large, you don't get hardly any clothing choices, the Campaign starts getting very repetitive very quickly, and the realism actually started to get on my nerves when I played it. Usually I love games that show a lot of realism but this just got annoying after a while.

Mafia 2 I had high hopes for, was excited for it and got it on release (Collectors Edition at that) and extremely dissapointed, very slow paced, boring missions (4 hours into the game you drive around delivering Gas Stamps)...O.K. Story, Nothing about the main character is interesting, just a Drone. so Red Dead Redemption buddy you wont regret it.

However I like to point out that a person can free-roam (though I'll admit aside from crushing cars and picking fights with cops and other gangs there isn't much in the way of side missions) Given that game is set in 1940s-50s cars were still in their early years so handling would be no where near as smooth as the cars of today. Loads of cutscenes are fitting since it is a game with focus on story

Just finished it on pc (would never play it on console.. looks like shit and controls are shit, though you can walk.. and i like the walking feature) when you beat the ending you dont get to keep on playing (wtf) gotta make a new game to free roam.. just a tip.. dont finish the ending, watch it on youtube so you still have ur cars and shitty house at martys. good story though, i actualy thought this would beat gta IV in features, sadly it didnt, looks better though+theme better.

My only complaint with the game is the lack of multi player. Don't get me wrong sometimes multi player in games is horrendous and shouldn't be there so I'm not the guy going up to games with a multi player zap ray and shooting off but the combat and detail in the fire fights is remarkable. Plus the heft of the shotgun is worth the 65 dollar admission alone. If not competitive multi player co op would've been GREAT.
