  • hahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • He lost because he was a Neocon Bastard.

  • isn't cutting taxes on businesses like those that make rum in Puerto Rico good for the economy which is the whole point of this bill?

  • im a republican---or used to be--im now an independent. we picked a god-awful choice in McCain and we will now pay the price for it.

  • I voted for John McCain in the 2008 primary, despite the fact that he was not a conservative. i voted for John McCain because I thought that he was an economic conservative and a strong leader. Well, after watching his performance during this crisis, I now see that he is either.

I don't like liberals (Obama), but I can not vote for McCain.

  • please, please, for the sake of our country, come around and vote for McCain. I didn't like that he voted for the bailout, I think the real John McCain would never have done that, but the alternative is so much worse. People like you will decide the election, just pick the better choice, since there is no best, or even good, choice.

  • Obama wins and McCain loses.

  • obama and McCain both voted "Yea" in favor of the bailout plan!

    this video is retarded

both these guys suck and a vote for them is a waste

that being said for any third party candidate but please don't fall for that crap of voting

for the lesser of two evils cause they are

    BOTH EVIL!!!!

  • and today's joke of the day, came to me from a McCain staffer in the Tucson, Az office...

I called to discuss the bailout bill, and asked her if calls she was getting were predominantly for or against. she said, she wasn't aware what the other offices were hearing, and didn't want to mislead me.

I mentioned that McCain himself reversed his positon on the bill, contradicting himself openly more than once and asked how is that not misleading?

Somehow she saw no humor in my comment.

  • i'll tell ya what. I'm a democrat. And my biggest fear was that McCain would oppose this immensely unpopular bill.

He could have gone with a very populist stance on this bill and it would have won him a lot of votes.

    But he didn't.

    Obama 08

  • As this thing unfolded I was almost certain it'd be used as a setup for McCain to step in as the voice of reason and play hero... obviously I'm giving these people too much credit.

  • yeah, that's definately worked out. lol.

  • oh oops I thought you meant that you hoped McCain would do what was right and support it.

It's true, I really can't believe McCain supported it, there were so many better alternatives, and if he had opposed it he would have won the election. I just don't know what he was thinking.

  • Whoever put this video up is MOST DEFINITLY BIAS! For the simple FACT that OBAMA SUPPORTED THE BAIL OUT TOO! AND IS TALKING TO BUSH TO MAKE ANOTHER BAIL OUT!

You People are so blinded by the media lies its sad to see that you think your right in not supporting Mccain. Please dont believe everything the news tells you, LOOK IT UP YOURSELF!

  • Glenn Beck is a CONSERVATIVE Talk Show Host and like many conservatives was and are against the bail out.

Republicans are supposed to be against spending and no need to LOOK IT UP, because you can just see McCain speak for himself-- supposedly against earmarks constantly repeating "I'm going use this pen to take names and you'll know who they are" and yet he voted for a bill loaded with earmarks.

And the RNC now is suing to reverse a McCain created bill.

  • Obama is a Democrat, and as McCain liked to say the entire campaign, is all about spending and Obama (and Biden) didn't run on an anti-earmark campaign like McCain did. Hilarious considering that Obama and Biden asked for $0 in earmarks this year, but Palin asked $195 Million in earmarks. I guess McCain's pen is out of ink.

But thanks for letting everyone on this board know that obviously 10 days later, you're still bitter that your hypocrite candidate lost.

  • So what your telling me is that Obama support for the bill makes sense? Look man, that bill NEEDED to be pasted there & then or the country would of been in a REAL recession! Everybody was pushed against the wall, the ones that didnt support the bail out would rather see a recession than to have to bail out the companies. ARE YOU 1 OF THEM?

I warn you, listen to all US media outlets like i do to find out whos really telling you the most truth being that they all lie to a degree.

  • I'm not sure why you're so mad.

This video had nothing to do with my personal thoughts on the bill.

This video was about conservatives feelings towards McCain for going against what he had said in the past (and continued to say after the vote) and going against what Republicans traditionally are--fiscally conservative, which makes it insane that George Bush has spent more money in his 8 years than all the presidents in US history.

  • Regarding the bail out itself--considering the dramatic effects that would have happened if AIG collapsed--the bail out was a necessary evil. Anyone who understands economics knows this to be true.

On the current discussion about the potential auto bail out. GM and their CEOs made the decision to kill their line of electric cars in the '90s and instead started rolling out (3 different Hummers). So as a company they deserve to go down based on past mistakes.

  • Unfortunately, considering the size of GM (Ford is in better shape fiscally than GM and DaimerChyrsler is a smaller company compared to the others), if GM were to die off, it would start this very unfortunate domino effect on 10% of jobs in America. About 1 in 10 jobs in this country is tied into the auto industry.

So if GM does get helped--it really would need specific energy related implementations.

But once again, none of this has anything to do with McCain's earmark hypocrisy.

  • I hate to say it, but the man is bang on. When you're friend is an alcoholic and broke, you don't help them by buying them a bottle of Jack. Y
