Maynard repeatedly says that he is just 1/4 of TOOL and every member is equally important. I think of TOOL as a machine. God forbid anything happen to any of them, they would never be quite the same. They are in the top 3 live bands of all time. I happen to think they are the best live act but there is no denying that they are in the top 3.
