I lived in Richmond my whole life and know those people in this video. Take it from a 20 year old, If you around the wrong people, it only takes one time to be one less. I was dropping a friend off one night this week only to see his family members house surronded by a flock of cops taping the house. I worked in North Richmond (I was also born at the Old Richmond Hosiptal) at the "steel mill" off cutting blvd for several years. Very scary and sad area. I feel very sorry for the good folks who are wrapped up in that mess. At the end of the day. I would drive 35 miles away to my house and be away from that place. Many folks I worked with, lived in the area.

I lived in Richmond my whole life and know those people in this video. Take it from a 20 year old, If you around the wrong people, it only takes one time to be one less. I was dropping a friend off one night this week only to see his family members house surronded by a flock of cops taping the house. I lost many friends over the years but removed my foot from evil and its ways and seen through God that the way to assemble together is to unite through faith together. Kinda like MLK did back then

Most murders are unsolved because cops have no leads/no one wants to talk. How can anyone stop all the murders in Rich? You can arrest a few people but but you'll never stop all the violence.

I worked in North Richmond (I was also born at the Old Richmond Hosiptal) at the "steel mill" off cutting blvd for several years. Very scary and sad area. I feel very sorry for the good folks who are wrapped up in that mess. At the end of the day. I would drive 35 miles away to my house and be away from that place. Many folks I worked with, lived in the area.

I dont think richmond is the #1 most deadliest cities in Ca. BUT i have to say They are in the top 5 in Ca id say number 3. Funny thing is (not really funny) Oakland has the 2nd highest homicide rate in the state of calif. I used to work in afuneral home in richmond for 10 years and richmond has never reached 50 homicides its normally around 30-45 a year But per capa East Palo Alto has richmond beat by far (PER CAPA) but over all Oakland is #2.

Richmond doesn't suck it is home and the community needs to realize that it is not JUST African Americans but others as well that live and grow up in the violence around there! I was born and raised in Richmond and I and NOT African American I am white/Hispanic and I went through the same things as ALL the residents of that area go through.
