I disagree. What, other than shape from a bird's eye view, do these things have in common? The mechanism: heat release vs. gravity? No. The outflow of particles sucked into the eyewall? No. The self-sustaining shape of a hurricane over warm waters vs. collapsing particles into a denser mass? No. Very few similarities other than shape.

Very pretty, but a spiral galaxy actually has a much lower differential rotation due to dark matter, nearly constant angular velocity with radius.
