I seriously thought Ken was being very tounge-in-cheek with them as we all know he's still fond of Dallas. To be fair I've seen some pretty bad american interviewers who make me cringe!
I think Old Clifff is great, he did an amazing job on the show, but judging by the way he looks in this interview, maybe he should be eating his pudding with a plastic spoon, I thought the scene when he was getting drunk, and the waiter bought him a fresh drink over, and attemted to take the half finished drink he was working on, before he drained it was great, he played the cheapskate like a master...good old Cliff Barnes.
What a couple of bastard interviewers! The only reason Ken came off rude was because he was being antagonized thoughout the interview. If you were doing an interview with two idiots laughing at you the whole time you would probably come off a little rude too.
Although I don't agree with the British on certain issues like Northern Ireland or releasing a Pam Am bomber from Prison. They produce pretty good entertainment and got smart and voted the Labour Party from Power. I live in the USA myself and the voters got smart and didn't vote for McCain. I see American voters voting out the Dems from Majority Power. For some years we had a hung Senate or 50/50 Senate
He's "Three French-Fries short of a Happy-Meal" in REAL LIFE!
Good Lord, his age is higher than his IQ !
Obviously the cocktails have ravaged a toll on his ability to discern the difference between a serious comment and a lightened one; a "must" for a public figure.
He's headed for the Sanitarium, not SUE ELLEN! LOL!
Disappointing to see that Ken doesn't value his time on Dallas. I have bought all 9 seasons on DVD and awaiting the release of Season 10 in January. I love the show and love his portrayal of Cliff Barnes. Sounds like those are bad memories for him.
I found the interviewers to be very rude. Especially the male interviewer. If you listen you can hear him giggling away throughout the interview. It's clear that both interviewers had the advantage of inside knowledge beforehand that Ken really only wanted to talk about his play, and they likely would have agreed. Unfortuntly Ken fell right into it and came across as a rude American. I saw Ken at a play a few years back and afterwards he talked to the audience about Dallas with great fondness.
i've met Ken twice in his home town where i'm from, he was drunk both times...sadly the first was in middle school, he came buzzing with a bunch of 8th graders

Presenters here seem to have a real problem being respectful to Americans, just look at any interview UK tv has done with a Country singer...

Totally rude, amateur and disrespectful interviewers. No class whatsoever and how do people like this get and hold their jobs? Classless.

No, I think Ken is not a fool who lives in memories. He lives today. I think he
does value his time in Dallas, after all.

Why do they always associate him with Dallas. He was on there to promote White Christmas.

Is it so awful to be associated with a mega hit, successful 14-year TV series? It's his crowning achievement.
