Jill St. John has the distinction of portraying the only character, villain or otherwise,in the 1960s Batman TV series, to die on camera, for the entire 3 year run, including the Batgirl spin-off. All the other villains simply escaped, or were taken to Gotham Jail. Strange that they did it in the pilot episode.
[1] So, like, isn't this one incredibly absurd masking sequence? Some problems I see:
1. Riddler left the unconscious real Robin's black mask on his face all the while? What, he doesn't want to see who The Boy Wonder really is? Lame!
2. When he made the rubber mask of Robin, didn't he have to take the black mask off in order to make a mould of his face? What, did he cast the mould with the black mask on & it's part of the final latex mask? Lame!
3. The woman (Jill St. John) can stuff all that poofed-up hair into that teeny, tiny, little "Robin" mask with no bald cap or something that will squish down all that hair and make be able to fit into the mask? Lame!
4. So, where did her tits and hips go after becoming Robin? Lame!
@QueenAnime99 and JixMa of course :-) that was the whole point of the show. It was satire. That type of humor was Huge in the late 60's. Otherwise, explain the Bat-Shark Repellent. For kids, it was an adventure show. For adults, the satire and spoofs went over the kids heads and went straight to the grown-ups, KINDA like Police Squad but a tad more subtle.
Oh my god that was so convincing!! ! :D

Wonderfully effeminate body language and walk... almost TOO good. No wonder all of those "Quick, Robin, the BatPlug!" jokes seem so plausible.
