  • bob@wire fly can you tell me if this phone is fast thanks

  • @gorman9800 Yes, the HTC DROID Incredible 2 is a pretty fast phone. The Motorola DROID X2 is faster, but the Incredible 2 is a pretty good 3G phone.

  • HOW MUCH DOES THE CHEPEST DROID INCREDIBLE 2 COST

  • Does this had the second generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.0GHz processor and how does this compare with the ThunderBolt, besides the 4G LTE capability?

  • @theIDKer Yes, the Incredible 2 does have the 2nd-gen Snapdragon processor. The original DROID Incredible has a Qualcomm QSD8650 processor and the Incredible 2 has a Qualcomm QSD8655 processor. Not a big jump numerically, but the new processor has a number of enhancements.

  • @wirefly sorry for all the questions. but im ordering one soon. and just wondering the phones are never used or pre-owened, right?

  • @wirefly , so if i ordererd....ohhh idk the droid 2 or something, it will come unopened... right?

  • @toomuchjake1 We pop the battery in and turn the phone on to be sure it's working. However, it is an unopened box until that point. If you bought a phone at a store, they open the box and fire it up, for exactly the same reason... to make sure you don't receive a DOA phone. If you buy a phone from Wirefly and are unhappy in the first 30 days, we will swap the phone for another or refund your money... and we pay the return shipping.

  • @wirefly ....does your site work? and if so...how?

  • @toomuchjake1 The big carriers spend LOTS of money on stores and employees for those stores. Wirefly saves them from building more store and hiring more employees, so we get to pass some of that savings on to you. It works!

  • I heard a rumor there wuld be a droid incredible 4g? is that true? because the evo 4g came out right after the evo shift

  • @flylilbilly I haven't heard anything about a DROID Incredible 4G. It's not impossible, but HTC already makes the ThunderBolt and just came out with the Incredible 2. If there will be an Incredible 4G, it's probably a few months away.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • @flylilbilly Yah its called the Thunderbolt!

  • Are the batteries interchangeable between the Incredible and Incredible 2?

  • Will this have an Android 2.3 upgrade?

  • @theIDKer I don't have that information. You might have better luck asking on a forum that specializes in HTC phones.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • Does it have Netflix? Or the Qualcomm DRM technology sufficient for Netflix?

  • @MoDazzle The Incredible 2 doesn't have a Netflix app re-loaded. I don't know about the DRM technology, however.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • Does it have a FM radio?

  • @beargold23 Yes, I just checked and the DROID Incredible 2 does have FM radio. Sounds good, too!

    Bob at Wirefly

  • because everybody might not want to pay that amount for a few seconds faster speed, 4g is becoming so irritating.... and it kills your battery super fast

  • Does this even have amoled/super amoled? And I also agree with one of the comments below that said why continue making 3g phones when verizon has launched their 4g lte?

  • @0legacyking0 The Incredible 2 has an LCD screen, not AMOLED. Resolution is 480 x 800. The screen looks good but it doesn't have the sharpness that some of the other new phones (with 540 x 960 resolution) have.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • shouldn't it have been 4g since verizon is blowing up its new 4g lte?

  • @dahookid323 still working on 4g with compatability

besides, this is also a world phone

  • actually, this is the incredible s :)

  • 6:58 has a bunch of specs

    4 inch wvga TFT display

    Dual xenon flash

  • Thats it

  • all this stuff on this phone is old 1ghz processor 720p video 3g no hdmi its hardly better than the droid incredible 1 the only thing thats better screen and front facing camera and global ready even the motorola droid x is better than this phone that has old specs from 2010 this is mid 2011 and their givin out phones with old specs how stupid

  • @MrJustinb8 Yes, it has a 1GHz, processor, but it's the newest version. Think of the first ever 1GHz processor up against a 1GHz processor made today. There would be drastic increases in speed while keeping the same clock speed by how the other factors are managed. It has an increase in RAM as well from the Inc1/Droid X. 768 to the 512 - a 50% increase. It's a better phone in a lot of ways than the Inc1 and will outperform the Droid X.

  • @TheFarmerDeBoer i forgot about the next gen thing but still not as great as the phones coming out dual core so those phones will sell the others will not

  • why is this phone 3g?

  • Is the droid x2 going to be better then this.

  • is that the CDMA equivalent to the htc incredible s which is unlocked and has tmobiles 3G bands?

  • @Darryl39345 Sorry, I'm not familiar with the HTC Incredible S... haven't seen one of those, yet.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • @wirefly The Incredible S is the Incredible 2. They're exactly the same device, but it's called the Incredible S in Europe since there was no Incredible 1 over there.

  • God i HATE CDMA!!

  • Bob,

Is there any reason why we should assume that Verizon won't unlock the SIM card?

This would be our first global phone -- we just REALLY hope the SIM can be unlocked in favor of a pre-paid SIM in other countries. Thank you!

  • @airmanjayl You might get a better answer asking Verizon that question. One of my colleagues at Wirefly assures me that the DROID Incredible 2 is locked to Verizon, so you'd have to jailbreak it to work with a non-Verizon SIM. I've never done that, so I'll take him at his word.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • no front facing camera?

  • @ShadowCurse95 it has a front-facing camera

  • @airmanjayl Yes, the DROID Incredible 2 definitely has a front-facing camera. The resolution is 1280 x 768 pixels, or 1-megapixel. Quality of the FFC looks good, so far.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • @wirefly I thought it was 1.3mp

Also the internal memory is 1gb. And comes with a 16gb preinstalled.

  • @DStanizzi I just checked the DROID Incredible 2 I have and its front-facing camera is 1280 x 768. That works out to roughly 1 megapixel. The Incredible 2 has 1GB of onboard storage and the unit I have has an 8GB microSD card installed.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • @wirefly Yes well now it has 16gb SD cards. Must have changed since. It listed on the verizon site

  • How much is the plan

  • how would you compare this to the thunderbolt?

  • @FistPumper69 The TBolt has a bigger screen & 4G service. But, the TBolt & most other Android phones won't give you global coverage as well as this one hopefully does.

  • YESSS. FINALLY.

  • Samsung sd card?

  • 4g phone?

  • if you go back to the beginning of the set-up wizard and tap on the corners of the screen in a clockwise motion it bypasses the set-up wizard

  • @DitzyDom We tried that and it didn't work. But we'll keep trying...

    Bob at Wirefly

  • also wireless charging...

  • if u pause it as the red start up feature screen is showing, you will notice that it says... 8 megapixels with dual "XENON" flash wihich is better than LED...

  • This phone is super sexy. But I'm happy with my Thunderbolt. :)

  • do u get to keep the phones you review? or atleast some or one of them?

  • its not 4g

  • lol, the Inc 2 is coming out before the Moto LTE phone (Bionic/Targa).

  • is it the same size as the htc incredible or is it like the thunderbolt and the evo

  • @yankeeboy1231 the orig. incredible had a 3.7in screen and the evo/tbolt have 4.3in screens. this has a 4in so kinda in between

  • Always a gentleman Bob.

  • Incredible 2 looks sexxy, but if its anything like the incredible, pass

  • Is this dual core

  • @lightningwar123 I don't think so, but the information available on the DROID Incredible 2 is pretty sketchy. It looks like this phone will be activated tomorrow (Thursday) and I will know LOTS more about it then. I'll be making another video with benchmark tests and discussion of many more technical details.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • @lightningwar123 it has a qualcomm msm8655, which is a 45nm single core.

  • Screen resolution is 480 by 800 WVGA :)

  • Come on Verizon. Where is my dual core LTE phone?

  • @callmemarc i wish the htc sensation that tmobile just released was on verizon...wait for the droid bionic

  • Am i the only one that likes trackballs and trackpads?

  • @Gmod10man Nope I like them as well

  • whens the release date?

  • @ekernan14 The HTC Incredible 2 ships on April 28, 2011.

    Bob at Wirefly

  • @wirefly how much does the chepest one cost

  • @MrSs2gohan It's best if you go to Wirefly.com to check the price, since prices change all the time.

But I have to ask... How much does the cheapest *what* cost?

    Bob at Wirefly

  • 3G....smh. Why even produce 3g phones anymore

  • @racerxgt1 Because 4g only exists in splotches on every city

  • @Gmod10man I feel it should be atleast 4g capable then. Eventually 4g will cover as much as 3g

  • @racerxgt You realize1 It took Verizon 3 years to have a Nationwide 3G coverage right? LTE has been out for 4 Months. Do that math:)

  • @racerxgt1 Some people don't want to pay more than they already are.

  • Ohhhhhh letdown.

  • niiice
