Wanting to save my wife and son from suffering is the thing that matters most. I started writing an autobiography Falcon Who Soars in 2007 and now have to keep writing. I'm looking forward to reading your book Carrie. The sense of loneliness I have, sounds like what you have/had. I don't believe in hope but I believe in presence and love.
May you both be well and have great joy and happiness.
I had a renal carcinoid removed in August 2011 (age 37) and now have mets as of June 2011. My cancer has been a gift and a teacher. As I've listened to this you both struck a chord in me that I cannot deny.
On Friday,April22,2011,I was diagnosed with a inoperable carcinoma tumor in my left lung,as well as lymphoma. I'm trying to learn as much as I can on the subjects without becoming too bummed out
I just finished reading this book and enjoyed it so much, also couldn't put it down. I wish that the sound quality was better on this video though, as I can barely hear what they are saying, and I would have loved to hear what Carrie is saying.
I'm in the middle of the book and so felt compelled to also see the video. What an extraordinary book -- so beautifully written and moving. It was especially meaningful for me, having close relatives with cancer. I hope and pray that the author has a long and healthy life to share with her family.
This was a wonderful book that I just could not put down. Honest. Extraordinary woman who shares her deeply personal experience with cancer. Very meaningful and permeating with love.
