If so, what are instrumentals and Janes Addiction for? Or is it because he'd never payed attention to them before, which is actually quite common when just casually listening to music, especially this sort of trance stuff. Or is it simply because his opinion differs from yours and you can't accept that?

@worldof00t It's more abstract than 'poethic', and I reckon it's more likely that there's almost no meaning. He has been quoted saying 'I really don't know' what the meaning of the song is. It starts off as a song that is simply about the end of a relationship and then just stumbles on for 12 minutes of surreal, meaningless trance music. If you want poetic lyrics look up Elbow, that's the good stuff.
