there's a slight moment where he either slows down a little too soon or strums to soon and you can hear the E just before the F

its definitly not fake, the guitar is much louder than the rest of the music and at 1 51 when he slides up the octave, he plays a wrong note really quick. Also during the verses you can hear the pick or his hand hitting the strings, which is not on the recording. He gets such a good tone because he is using a marshall amp which is what mike uses now. This is definitly not fake at all.

Almost the correct way, instead of using octave notes, mike uses chords for the descent, his way sounds emptier then mike's on that particular piece, i know cause i was a incubus freak before he was and play all of there songs too, including deep inside those kind of songs.
