Swelling down in the vag area is very normal. I mean, I don't have the swelling on the outside, but when the doctor checkes me for dilation, I can really tell that I'm swelling on the inside. My ancles have swollen a little bit, but not much. I've been pretty much fine my whole pregnancy with the swelling issue till now with the cervix checks every appointment!
Congrats on the boy! I'm on the pink team, so I'm not able to welcome you to my team! But, I'm hoping my next is a boy!
I'm 29 weeks 2 days. I think it's varicose veins that's causing your problem. I read it this morning in my weekly google of weeks I am. They were specifically talking about varicose veins at 29 weeks and I remember at least one sentence that talked about the area down there being prone to them too. It's not just in our legs and butt LOL. It's common so don't worry. I'm dealing with all of these brand new joys to. Have a great week!
TheSmithsofGA. So far all the research I have done on that leads me to varicose veins. And yes, I do clearly see those there now. :-( Oh, the joys of pregnancy. Gongrats on you lil' bun in the oven! Boy/girl?
I love thos jammy pants, I have 'em too! Grey & black are my fav colors for pregnancy.
As far as swelling goes... I haven't had any trouble down stairs, except the outside, from bottom belly down to 'the goods'. It's sowlen and sensitive. I'd ask your OBGYN next visit. I started a journal pad to write down the endless questions I come up with ha.
more like numbing for me. no swollen ankles here either
