In the past, people on either side ended up dead sometimes. You kidnapped a bride, then asked how much to pay for bride price later on. There was a documentary about this on the BBC on Wednesday and it focused on bride stealing in Chechnya. It was horrible to watch and I had nightmares over it. I'm so thankful I don't live there.
