Do you think this movie is a very interesting and fascinating different approach on vampire legends? i think they got ideas from the Vampirella comics on the idea that vampires came from another planet concept.
@Johnlindsey289 yeah i did i mean with the countless number of vamp flicks that came b4 and after this 1 still stands alone on the idea front,although its very slow the russian horror let the right one in is another vampire film that explores some untouched ideas
It's a shame that people think vampires are suppose to be like Dracula with the fangs and sucking blood etc. but rather more on sucking energy with some vampire like qualities. Not all vampires are of the breeds shown in Dracula, Buffy, Angel, Vampire Diaries, Twilight, Supernatural, True Blood, Interview with vampire and all that stuff. Some are different as if people don't do true research on vampires.

i love it when films of this type do that. when they with the gigantic space bats, weave in existing folklore on the subject, to help suspend the disbelief, i'm assuming the film is on the tyopic i refer to , as the title is after all space VAMPIRES . this scene reminmds me of alien, the first one, with the cavernous alien craft .which came first , either way i dont think it's an intentional copy, but needed to drive the dramatic
