  • too bad here in CA we can only have tactical throwing pillows

  • u should buy a camera instead of a calculator

  • cod graphics

  • Nothing special about this gun, looks like the normal Aug. btw I think this vid was shot from the Phils.

  • This was recorded with another AUG

  • AUSTRIA!!!!!

  • I'm surprised that no Black Ops kids come here and spam the comments. Weird.

  • @COD04MW im super awesome at call of duty and i jump off buildings whilst doing 720's with my sniper rifle and i Xx QuIck ScoPez Xx

  • @oXxThrusTxXo if they have the license they can do what they want with it the A3 is only upgradet

  • @oXxThrusTxXo Das weiß ich nicht, ich weiß nur das sie damals Tests gemacht haben mit den STGs und anderen Waffen und sich dann fürs StG entschieden haben.

  • Irish Army uses this as there main Assualt weapon

  • Next time use a videocamera, not a calculator.

  • Mga Scout rangers po ba kayo ng Philippine Army?

  • keep pressing 9, LMAO

  • anyone else but me think the guy who was shooting looked like hines ward...

  • I wonder if the little 5.56 round would jus tickle me and make me laugh if I got shot with one lol

  • @Vettejocke M4 is also 5.56.... .22 would tickle, this would rip

  • @ArchieNDM .22 would kill you

  • @ArchieNDM God you must be American, why are people so naive about guns? Because its a small bullet it doesnt kill? And to say they tickle, this is why so many people are probably killed by this weapon because they underestimate it and use it carelessly not realizing that the bullet still travels at around 1200 ft/s. I mean its like saying being stabbed with a screwdriver would tickle, trust me If i shot u with my air rifle it would more than tickle, and thats not even half as lethal as a .22LR

  • @Vettejocke

Well you know very little about the SS109 round then.

  • @krissyeh idk about that but the "rifle" itself looks like a toy

  • did you record this up your ass?

  • he used a camera spike to record this

  • can it compare to the tar

  • @aroseconleche626 this was made in the 1970s the tar was made about 4 years ago.

  • looking into buying one

  • chuck norris would use that as a pistol.

  • errm... it's "Steyr", not "Styer". But, who cares? I probably make much more typos than you.

  • haha das ist ja nur die zivilversion

  • I know this will be the stupidest question asked on here, Can the sight be changed over to the other side for lefties shooting?

  • @dazmandawson Yes, but i think these are the older versions

  • one of the best assault rifles ever made!

    Austrian Quality!^^

  • u no the aug scope is it a far scope, medium scope or is a normal basic sight scope

  • 1.4X prolly a basic scope with a bt range if you ask me.

  • @giansantiago Its a 1.5x optical sight

  • @renegadeob oh yea lol +1 on that its a Swarovski 1.5x telescopic sight with back up iron sights.

  • hey how do u keep ur gun steady wen proned. i fired the aug i scored 2 bulls eyes and 5 others close or sorta far away from bulls eye wen standing/crouching but on prone i get a shit score

  • Sounds like something in your head is messing with you, when prone the recoil travels from your shoulder to your feet, basically absorbing it all, you should be dead on accurate.

  • yea most likely

  • The marksmanship principles should always be the sam regardless of what position you are in but if you can't keep it steady then I would recommend holding the weapon firm into your shoulder. Some people try to muscle rifles too much and their accuracy suffers as a result. If you miss what you are aiming for after following the marksmanship principles you may just have to adjust your point of aim ever so slighly. Hope this helped.

  • @bergalini didnt really help. i found out that the scope on the steyr aug was rigged. its windage was shifted wen it was my turn 2 fire. like at my cousin's house i fired the aug standing or crouchin, wen i was at army cadets i had 2 fire proned, so the gun instructors just rigs the windage so thats why my shots were off

  • the weapon is just awesome, i fired it on 150 meters and made 80 points out of 100. Excellent weapon

  • i never knew why it is called AUG here in Austria where its developed its called stg 77(Sturmgewehr 77)

  • @CloneTrooper455

    armee universal gewehr = AUG

will net besserwisserisch sein, aber fallst es net weißt ; )

  • Comment removed

  • this rifle is manufactured in Austria and as well developed there in the early 60s. the magazine cathes 30 rounds and it's 0,80 metres long.

it was first used in austria before it spread around the world. today it is used and in some cases also manufactured in 18 countries; Austria, Australia, Ireland, Malaysia and others.

  • Irish army also use it!

  • yeah that*s the austrian power wappon^^...steyr aug...

    incredible wappon!

  • @Clupplaner what's incredible to me is that you can't switch shoulders without having to field strip the weapon, now that is incredible.

  • @Clupplaner Austrian engineering FTW. KTM and Steyr AUG!

  • scout rangers and marine force recon uses the aug in the philippines

  • Australians use it as well. It's originally an Austrian weapon, but I thin Steyr sold the rights for this gun to either an Australian arms company or Australian Defence Forces itself. I'm not quite sure. But in the Austrian Army this rifle is not referred to as Steyr Aug, it's called Stg 77- which means basically Assault Rifle 77. It sure is a damn good weapn. I'd say it's one of the best Assault rifles ever. It's highly accurate and extremely reliable under every thinkable conditions.

  • So do NZ'ers like me :) Its the ANZAC service weopon you maite call it :P Its great all around but not great for long ranged fire fights, its more used for closer quarters,

  • That's not true. The Steyr doesn't function at all in watery environments - if it gets too wet there's a problem with the working parts where the weapon will simply lock up.

Also, in Australia it isn't known as the AUG either, it's called the F88.

  • my dad has never had an issue with this weapon he has used it in desert bush jungle he says it's good piece of kit i now when they where testing it it had to pass test such has being fired under water it was emersed in mud for 2 days and fired it reached 500 degrees c before failing and many more tests and can u give detail on watery enviroment cause every1 i know to of used it has had minimal problems

  • @3vegemite

It is named the Austeyr F88 A1 and a later upgrade A2.

It is manufactured under license by the Australian Defence Industries small arms factory at Lithgow NSW. Another up grade is in development, the A3 which will incorporate mounting points for the M203 grenade launcher.

  • @cleticprincess1956 not this one in the vid....

  • austrians use this, but i don't who eles

  • sayang bala.. mahal yan^^

  • the aug is like a hoe that 4gets to ask for money, like a barbecue with no salad, its perfect

  • WHAT ? HUH ?

  • FILIPINOOOOO FTW

  • this is philippine army

  • PINOY PRIDE

  • What army is this?

  • I think it might be the Australian army, I know they use the AUG.

  • theyre Filipinos.

  • from the Philippines probably scout rangers.

  • FILIPINOS

  • what the hell did you use to capture this?

    cellphone camera?

  • yep... just a lowly cellphone cam...

  • @loskatiponeros How much megapixel?

  • @buhaybaboy calculator...

  • @sowi3t Wow very fuuny... and where fucking country did you come from? They should teach some sense of humor there...

  • @buhaybaboy I live in Austria now and well... it's not funny here, they want to ban all weapons because of EU in 2012, not very funny. :(

  • @buhaybaboy i was thinking a calculator

  • @buhaybaboy He used a modified Steyr AUG

  • I love that gun. I've always loved bullpups all together.

  • ME TOO !!!

  • I like how you just throw a name out there to make it seem like you know what you are talking about. What in the holy hell does a specific large caliber bolt action sniper rifle have to do with a specific small caliber, semi-automatic assault rifle?....lol,copdude911 talks out of his ass from time to time....why is that???

  • Australian bought a license to build it's own copy, called AUSSTEYR

  • i thought steyr didnt sold them the license of the AUG? thanks for the info..

  • @loskatiponeros I license for a variant was sold.

  • @loskatiponeros

yes, its the F88 aus steyr

  • Irish Army Use this Rifle .

    Its good gun

  • austrian army too... best rifle^^

  • Austrian army still use it ohh never new that.

  • its an austrian weapon :)

  • Yeah i know but didn't know ye were still using it .

  • It's an Austrian made gun

  • M16 is ok for the USA just need a more stronger, reliable weapon

  • AK-47

  • What about "AK-47", can u elaborate ???

  • The m4 is what we currently use. It's a proven system, they just have to be maintained better than some other assault rifles. The caliber is considered marginal by some, but that is why we have the 6.8spc. The m4 is a fine weapon.

  • does that mean the irish r in quantum of solace?

  • austria

  • Australia also uses it. Gets confusing.

  • so do aussies

  • i agree, we just need a better site on the aussie assault rifle :)

  • I heard that the foward verticle forearm and barrel are very easy to take off so what i am wondering is there any possibility in nocking off the barrel and forearm by accident. but it seems to me u guys r having a lot of fun

  • No when you attatch the barrel to the gunlock and housing, its held in place by a very strong lock

  • the barrel and grip are very easy to remove yes but it would be very difficult to knock them of as there is is release buttton that requires a fairly particular thumb movement but it comes natural to the hand

  • philippine special forces?

  • nope we're just a bunch of civies given the chance to have fun with the real deal pips...

  • @lownotoriety Australian troops- not comandos

our comandos )S.A.S.R Special. Air. Service. Regiment) use an Australian made M-16

  • @corpralsmithy Wait, so Australian troops are using Austrian weapons!? That's going to confuse people.

  • @Khyrid

and by the time they figure things out,... Ze weel be dead!

  • @Khyrid Well, at least a lot of you Americans. :-)

  • @rotweissrot100 Only most of us are stupid.

  • @Khyrid :-) BTW: No offence intended.

  • i love this gun it just feels right in your arms you know. i want one.

  • the first shell looks like a 2 meter barrel

  • seriously

  • No, but it seems much bigger than a usual shell

  • all copys of steyr aug are shit

when u fire a real austrian one

    you feel the beat !!!

  • one 5.56mm rifle is the same as any other another 5.56mm rifle you wouldn't really notice any difference in terms of recoil... :P

  • mine comes apart like the real one.

  • i have the bb gun

  • make a vid of it

  • It's a bullpup rifle which means the firing mechanism is located behind the trigger assembly in the butt which reduces the overall length of the weapon.

  • austrian assualt rifle. clips in the back so you can fire with one hand because you can suppress the recloil with your handle hand.

  • yep exactly... by the way we were firing the Australian copy of the AUG...

  • lol i was pretty close with the spelling anyways

  • is it a sniper

  • its actually a rifle

  • It can have a barrel with a bi-pod that you can attach, but it's really an automatic assault rifle.
