  • Manafest is amazing but im thinking he needs better videos and better dance moves lol

  • 1:00 made me go what the heck is going on

  • Manafest isn't talking about a literal avalanche here, he's talking about the struggles and troubles of life (better called the sinful nature) all hitting him at once and is compared to an avalanche - the impact of it is damaging! Although, this is my favorite song on the Chase album - he rocked it in Amrillo, TX!

  • at 2:49 it sounds like, "you guided me when i was, rada rada rada" :D

  • awww i want his shirt....

  • Ok...how do they go from a Metal sound in Impossible to this? Its kinda odd...

  • @armystrong144 he does both rock and rap

  • Just saw him in concert last night along with Superchick! Totally awesome. I'd only heard one of his songs but he's really good. I got a CD and He signed it. Amazing night!!

  • I love the song, but the video borders on lame.

  • lmao i agree skittles its the first thing i noticed

  • :) i love how awkward he moves, lol. reminds me of myself when i try to dance ;)

but seriously, this song is great, it has meaning, and it talks to people.

  • @Urloved777 Really? I've never thought he moves awkward. I saw him live and he's got great moves. He's a rapper...

  • Hmm. He'd probably look better bald, or something reaaaally close.

    Just saying. o.o

  • Pretty good song but kind of a weird music video but overall pretty cool

  • heh, who knew he could dance?

  • @Zuder6 watch any of his other music videos.

  • It think it is sad the the "Christian" community is so dogmatic that he had to change two lines in the song just so he could get airplay on the "Christian" market. Manafest is making a statement that his old life style was one that was leading him to hell and that someone presented the gospel in a way that he came to God in fear of hell. I just wish the tight lipped Christians would leave artists like this alone and let them present the gospel to those who wouldn't listen any other way.

  • @gothmneph what two lines?

  • @Snapshot290

@:36 he says tired of living in a shell

the original song says "tired of living like hell.

@ 1:45 he says you scared the junk out of me

the original he replaces junk with hell again.

I try not to use the word so loosely when I write lyrics but I understand the crowd he's trying to reach and they understand exactly what he's talking about. I came from a Godly home. Others such as Manafest may have not been so blessed. He's just reaching out to those he can relate with.

  • @gothmneph however the word hell has diffent meanings now. it has different meanings besides how its used in the bible. plus, when he says "Im tired of living like hell." (in the original) it could be taken that he wants to turn to the church/god as opposed to satan.idk, i didnt see a big deal with it,i saw took it as more of a metaphor to turning to christanity. just my .02, although due 2 current inflation rates that may not be much. ;p

  • You know... With his sunglasses on, he kinda looks like Tom Cruise! :)

    <3 Avalanche <3

  • u know i thought he was mexican forsome reason

  • @atrtfk thumbs up bc i read this and it made me laugh. :) haha

  • i just got tht

  • Working on a guitar cover for this song =p going to record it later, I got the song 100% learned.

  • i love this song.....a life of wrecklessness and sinful acts that compiled into an avalanch that led him to a path of a desperate struggle between wandering in a desert of confusion and shame or run into the arms of mercy and forgivness-- -luke 15:11-24...the prodigal son...

  • awesome song! one of my favorites of this album

  • I'm having trouble figuring out the meaning of "Avalanche", any thoughts on the meaning of this song?

  • @MrFreemason1 its about a prodigal on the run

  • @chiller56781 It is used as an adjective in the lyrics, not a noun. The noun meaning of "prodigal" is: a person who spends, or has spent, his or her money or substance with wasteful extravagance; spendthrift (dictionary, com) The word "avalanche" is used metaphorically and it seems to describe a chronic emotional stress.

  • *** Can i just say i have a cougar crush on Mr. Manafest? *sizzle*

  • hEY! that necklace he's got...

    What's the "t" stand for?

  • @KryztalMythStudios It's a Christian Cross

  • @KryztalMythStudios ummm what did u just say?

  • OMG Manafest is look like Trevor Mc.Nevan without Hat , but li like that Video alot , Go God , Go Manafest...:)

  • 10,000 Views... Not a lot of people have seen this music video of a great song...

  • i love this song its so true

  • Does anyone else think its ironic that this music video was shot in the desert and the song is called avalanche?

  • @skilletfan47 What will this world be without irony?

  • @skilletfan47 I think he means an avalanche of stress!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @skilletfan47 Not really....an avalanche does not have to be snow. Can be rocks or sand as well. But the song is about the things that are falling down around him.

  • Comment removed

  • @skilletfan47 Wouldn't it be at a mountain or smth?

  • @skilletfan47 dude it is about a crimnal who has every thing falling around him....

  • @24KingBaller24 i think your right but there is a diffrent version that says instead of you scared the junk out of me man it says you scared the hell out of me man i just dont get it

  • He looks soo hot at 3:14!!

  • @Channy545 naw, i think he looks better at 3:10

  • @Channy545 say that again and i will dick slap u lol, jk

  • @Channy545 what do you mean by hot?

  • @TDLisHOT I mean that he is good looking !

  • Comment removed

  • @TDLisHOT dude. please delete this comment. thats soo rude!

  • @Channy545 happy?

  • @Channy545 talkin about the martin?

  • I noticed a lot of people not getting it and not linking the video to the song. So here's my take on it (I don't know if this was the intention): It's the perfect picture of a new Christian going through the combined phases of "I screwed up, God save me" and "God saved me and I'm refreshed and ready to tell EVERYONE about God no matter what." Both of which are very common. The different elements of the video illustrate beautifully these high energy, fast-paced phases of a shaken new Christian.

  • I'm not really understanding what this video has to do with the song. I love the song though. Keep up the good work.

  • I love this song but the video makes no sence to me.

  • *** This is very well done...I wasn't bored at all, like some other videos. Great song, excellent video. I like your style: fresh, different, edgy, honest, professional.
