Can anyone tell me what kind of fire poi He's using here, and how they leave a glitter trail effect?? It doesn't seem like steel wool, because those usually create sparks and fly everywhere.... whereas these only spark during certain durations or when they poi heads clash together... some info would be great!

@pokesephiroth I asked him on that day and he explained to me that he is using titanium powder, which they simply apply to the pois after dipping them. they just roll the pois in the powder after dipping. The problem is that it is extremly difficult to get your hands on titanium powder. It's only produced for industrial purpose and they had to order like a huge amount in a combined order with several people. The effekt is generated through the powder that flies from the poi during play.

the best i can tell, nobody knows. it hasnt been disclosed to the public. Burning Dan was one of the poi greats. its very sad to know this happened. my respect and best wishes to anybody hurt from this lost and all those close to him, family and friends.
